Flying with your DOC - experiences?

So I'm curious how many of you have thrown caution to the wind and gotten on a plane to travel with a stash. I seem to be pretty stupid and naive when it comes to flying, as I have no hesitation to take a decent stash through security going both domestic and international. Flown a few different times with at least a 10 pack of rigs, and I generally just throw whatever pills I have in a medicine bottle and assume that if they open my bottle and all the pills are the same, they won't go through the trouble of finding out what it is. I generally don't put multiple types of pills in one bottle, but I've flown with 2g+ of dope when I was going to be gone for a couple weeks.

Just flew from Canada to Ireland with 15 rigs, 16 kadians, 1 cap of deschloroetiz (pretty sketch as its just a powder in a gel cap, and if you read my other post, I found a fat bag of white powder that I have no clue what it could be in a pocket of a jacket. I realize I could get fucked pretty damn hard if I was ever searched, but I do have a few things going for me, including being a normal looking white kid, and also having gone through a pretty extensive background check process to get an International Trusted Traveler (Nexus-type) ID card letting me skip through a lot of the bullshit and making it so I get into a much more relaxed security line.

I know that with scanners, it picks up metal and shit like that, so I generally assume if I mix my bag of rigs into something that has a lot of other stuff (generally a slightly hidden pocket in my toiletries bag) then the barrels won't show as they're plastic and the needle is too tiny to key in on. This may be completely wrong, as I don't actually know what the scanners pick up, but since I got my Trusted Traveler status, I've never had anyone so much as bat an eye at me when going through security.

Mind you if I was going to SE Asia, I'd think a little differently (execution for drug trafficking does scare the pants off of me), but travelling between Canada/US/Europe, I seem to feel pretty safe. Anyone else push the boundaries of stupidity like myself?

I don't ever fly with shit. When I went to England, i got searched like 3 times frmo when I got off the plane to when I got out of the airport. Same for the return trip. I got stopped just walking around the airport, I went thru normal security, and i got searched on that tunnel leading onto the airplane. I'm also nervous of those plastic tubes that POOF air from bottom to top sniffing for the chemical elements that make up bombs. I know they are for bombs, but there's no reason they can't also be for drugs.

I've always thought that putting pills in a bottle like that would work, because why would they care if you bring a dozen pills, it's obviously personal use and would take way too much work to check. But bringing syringes or things that are clearly illegal like H or weed or coke i will NOT do. my sisters brought pot on domestic flight a couple times without any trouble, but its not worth the risk. I'd rather be dopesick and free, with the opportunity to possibly cop somewhere new, then dopesick and locked up with no chance of copping.


edit: I have brought suboxone strips that weren't current prescriptions (did have a history just no current bottles/bags) but those things are so strange the way they come in thin plastic packs, dont even look like they contain anything, so i wasn't worried about it.

I do wonder what the law is regarding syringes. I know in the states they can be regarded as drug paraphernalia but in Canada they take a much more harm reduction oriented approach. I guess worst case scenario, I'd say I have a script for insulin called in to a pharmacy at my destination, and I don't fly with it because it has to be refrigerated, and forgot my script paper or whatever.

weed is another story as I feel it would be pretty smelly, but I did take an eighth across the US/Canadian border via car one time by putting it in like 8 zip locks and sinking it down in a bottle of shampoo that was otherwise full to the brim and in my toiletries bag. car didn't even get searched so it wasn't an issue but I feel like they'd have to indivdually X-Ray that bottle or dump out all my shampoo to find that shit. considered sizing it down for a flight, but i always figured taking a little spice might be better (i have a little left over from way back when, and while I definitely don't choose it over weed, hence why i still have it a year later, I do feel like it would be easier to fly with since it doesn't smell.

I got arrested last week and the cop was getting my cash outta my wallet at the station when they inventory your property and he stopped flipping through my shit and there was a sub strip in it's package. I thought aw fuck! but he didn't even acknowledge it or know what it was so I was in the clear but I thought I was fucked for a second.

As for flying with shit, I've taken my scripts before but that's it. I always get rigs and dope at my destination. Last time I flew, I had a letter from TSA or homeland security saying my checked bag got "randomly searched" so I'll never ever have the balls to carry anything on a flight.

Once on my way to BWI (B'more airport), I realized I still had about a gram or two of really good weed. I looked around for someone obvious that I could give it to but didn't see anybody that stood out so I just threw it under my seat on the bus. I bet that made somebody's day when they found that on the bus later that day or the next day. I just hope it went to somebody that wanted it and it didn't get thrown out or flushed LOL.
