Dr. Goodmedicine explains “I was inspired by my patient population. They kept requesting an analgesic that begins with the letter D, and my options were so limited!”

Really smart marketing tactic. Totally didn't borrow most of it from Dilaudid.

Oh my god, this is laughably retarded!

And lol at that name. "Your doctor's name is Dr. Goodmedicine, she will be here shortly." "Fuckin sweet! Gonna get loaded!"

Does having a name so close to dilaudid sound dangerous to anyone else? If said out loud it could be mistaken for dilaudid. In an ER setting, this might be bad.

Hey the site that that parody came from, called "GomerBlog," is pretty funny, It's aimed at healthcare professionals.

"GOMER" is an acronym meaning "Get Out Of My Emergency Room," which refers to a type of patient, usually a drug seeker faking an illness or injury to get narcotics, who is not the type of person a doctor typically does not want to see in an emergency setting, since they waste resources and sap the available man-hours on staff.

"Code Brown" refers to a restroom cleanup needed. Just thought I'd throw that one in for laughs.

Funny stuff.

- thanks for posting that.
