This is fascinating! The Harvard Mark I truly was a marvel of its time, showcasing the dawn of automated computation. It makes you appreciate how far we've come, from massive electro-mechanical beasts to playing games like uno online  on tiny devices. What an incredible piece of history!

I agree, it's genuinely interesting and really helps you feel more comfortable with today's technology.

If you always bear in mind that computers were mechanical once then things seem less intimidating and start to fall in place.
