Quantum computing uses quantum mechanics to process information in fundamentally different ways than classical computers.
It leverages qubits, which can represent both 0 and 1 simultaneously (thanks to superposition) and can be entangled, allowing for complex calculations that classical computers struggle with.
Quantum computers have the potential to solve problems in cryptography, drug discovery (lol 🤣, I'm always trying that one), and optimization more efficiently than traditional computers.
However, they’re still in early stages, facing challenges like error rates and stability.
