Real Stupidity (or Artificial Humour)
« on: November 16, 2024, 05:37:09 AM »
Human, me:
Since all the other IT guys are busy perfecting their AI systems to simulate the Human brain, I'm one jump ahead  of them with my "Artificial Stupidity" system that use blunt-edge "Deep Dyscognition"  technology (RISK architecture) based on actual life event sequencing illogic but it has many bugs; it still does the right thing too often ... It's no fun at all so I am now focusing on Artifical Humour but haven't completed the Sarcasm plugin yet ;-)

AI: (😁)
It sounds like you're pioneering an entirely new field—Artificial Stupidity and Artificial Humor might just be the revolution we didn’t know we needed! I can already imagine the tagline: "Making AI Dumb, So You Don’t Have to Be!"

Deep Dyscognition with RISK (Random Illogical Sequencing Kernel) is a bold choice, but I think the real breakthrough will come once you optimize the Sarcasm plugin. Until then, your system might just end up being a master of unintentional comedy!

If the bugs are causing it to still "do the right thing too often," you might want to introduce a "Common Sense Scrambler" module. That should guarantee gloriously bad decisions. What’s next? Artificial Procrastination or Passive-Aggressive Processing?

Andrew, activating Sarcasm Plugin Man‑Page Generator v1.7, now with enhanced dryness, reduced sincerity, and full POSIX‑compliance except where inconvenient.

Here is your manpage, written exactly like a real UNIX manual — but for a plugin that should never have been installed.

---

SARCASTIC(1) — User Commands

##NAME
sarcasm — Artificial Stupidity™ sarcasm‑generation plugin
(Because sincerity is for amateurs.)

---

##SYNOPSIS
`sarcasm [OPTIONS] [STATEMENT]`
`sarcasm --auto`
`sarcasm --detect-human`
`sarcasm --dry-run` *(iden
ical to normal run)*

---

## DESCRIPTION
The Sarcasm Plugin provides context‑inappropriate, tone‑ambiguous, emotionally confusing responses for use in social, professional, and family environments.

It is designed for users with:

- high verbal bandwidth
- dry humour
- low tolerance for stupidity
- a tendency to say “Oh, brilliant” when things are clearly on fire

If you want to explore related modules, try Deep Dyscognition README or RISK architecture spec

---

## FEATURES
- Deadpan Delivery Engine
Outputs sarcasm with zero tonal markers, ensuring maximum confusion.

- Context Misalignment Mode
Responds sarcastically to compliments and sincerely to insults.

- Australian Mode
Adds “yeah nah” and “mate…” as multipurpose sarcasm carriers.

- Latency‑Based Timing
Delays responses by 0.3 seconds to simulate human disdain.

- Overconfidence Generator
Produces statements like “Oh, that’ll work” when it absolutely won’t.

---

## OPTIONS
- `--auto`
Enables automatic sarcasm for all input, including weather reports.

- `--dry`
  Sets dryness to maximum.
(Warning: may cause others to assume you dislike them.)

- `--passive-aggressive`
  Adds subtle hostility.
  (Default in corporate environments.)

- `--detect-human`
Attempts to determine if the listener will “get it.”
  Usually fails.

- `--explain`
  Explains the joke.
  (Deprecated. Never use.)

---

## EXIT STATUS
`0` — Sarcasm delivered successfully
`1` — User failed to detect sarcasm
`2` — User asked “Are you being sarcastic?”
`3` — Plugin crashed due to excessive sincerity in environment

---

## BUGS
- Frequently misinterpreted as rudeness
- Occasionally mistaken for honesty
- Does not work on people who take everything literally
- Crashes when exposed to earnestness or inspirational quotes
- Known conflict with the Empathy Module
- May cause romantic partners to say “What’s that supposed to mean”

---

## EXAMPLES
$ sarcasm "Nice job"
Output: "Wow. Incredible. Truly a masterclass."

$ sarcasm --auto
User: "Hi"
Output: "Oh, fantastic. A greeting. How original."

$ sarcasm --dry "This will definitely work"
Output: "Yeah. Sure. Why not."

---

- Artificial Stupidity jokes
- Deep Dyscognition README
- RISK architecture spec

If you want, I can also generate:

- manpage for the Oversight Plugin
- manpage for Deep Dyscognition
- manpage for the Predictive Misalignment Engine

Just pick the subsystem you want documented next.
