coldplay....well let me tell you...i heard the song "Clocks" a billion times on the radio..and HATED it!! then a few years later while listening to a member supported radio station i heard the song.."lost!"  and then i was hooked....violet hill is a protest song and sort of a love song too... please read the lyrics and soak them in.....it is a respectful nod to their beatles influence because "violet hill" is some street near "abbey road"
