button to pick up viewing thread where you left off

I dont know if this is possible with this forum program, but on the phile there was this great little button you could press that would remember what page and even what post you were at last time you were reading a thread, and would send you there so you didnt have to search for where you left off.  The only thread button I can see here takes you to the newest post (ie end of the thread).

Can we have something like that?

I will look into it but the home page shows the sane thread but at points where different members answered.

do you remember the name of the button ? I ask because i didn't know about it.

Just to clarify, this was a button that was on the line for each thread; you'd click it instead of clicking on the thread title when you want to go to a thread and it would take you to the place where you left off viewing last.  It didnt have a name, it was just a little icon on the far right of each thread line (like when you would view What's New for example).

Like this (if you imagine this is the layout with Subject, Replies, Last post etc):

It was located in basically the exact same place as the "Last post" icon is located on this forum on each thread line in the New Posts page (the icon that looks like a picture of a page with a little arrow on it, to the right of the Last Post information like date time etc).
