So, still no one has heard from OP? Hope he's alive and ok. Just wanted to add, Rick Scott is finally out of terms for governor. Guess what hes doing? Running for Senate now. He is most recently responsible for deregulation of the sugar industry, causing them to create some toxic pollution green slime that has been released into the gulf and Atlantic, making red tide worse and killing marine life. This mass die off has been going on since last December. Idk If people outside Florida are hearing about this stuff but I want them too.

Furthermore, Florida was given a bunch of federal money to fix and figure out the problem. Guess what Rick Scott did with it? Use more than half on advertising, trying to tell people to still visit Florida... and when they get here there's going to be dead fish, sea turtles and manatees, and air that burns your eyes and throat. At least in my part of Florida.

I know this is a thread derail, but seriously, I can't believe hes isn't going to be a senator here now....and his ads are so full of lies its not even funny. He only won by 1 pts last time, but that was enough to fuck us up here in many ways.

I'm one state north but I've heard of the "red tide" but never knew what it meant and still don't. Guess I need to google it.

Yeah, red tide as far as I understand, is a condition that usually happens in warm water when there is excessive nitrogen and phosphorus in the water. It's a type of algae that feeds on those nutrients and uses up the oxygen in the water when it grows. Since my part of Florida has a shitton of phosphorus and sulfur mining, there's a lot of these nutrients in the water. Then the sugar industry being deregulated happened to greatly increase the nutrients in the water, and now we're having red tide for the last year, when it used to die off in winter. Idk what the green algae is from, and neither do other people. They just know it is growing near the sugar plantations, which drain into lake okachobee, and that lake drains out into both sides of FL through rivers.

I just had this same situation, exact same- on probation, had a probation hearing and missed it because I was in the e.r.    I'm on inactive probation though, which means no drug tests or anything.
I checked online and there was no warrant, just a reset date. So I went to the date sweating bullets and thinking I could have my probation rescinded but quickly realized they just want me there to make my payments. They never even asked why I missed the first one.

When I called about missing the date, the clerk of courts told me there was already a new date set. Did you check to see if you have any upcoming dates just in case they already reset it?

If not then I would go in asap with your discharge papers and request a new date.  Someone suggested mailing it, you could always try that first if going in person is too risky, in your mind.
It's better to get it resolved though. One way or another. It doesn't sound like a real BIG legal issue so they probably just want you on their radar and paying them. It's when you go MIA that the problems start.

I'm sorry you are dealing with this and the health stuff at the same time.  The stress from your legal stuff probably isn't helping with the health issues either.

+1. I'm on probation in 2 different states and it's so much fucking stress. I'm supposed to get off in one state on Dec. 8th but gotta take a $360 DUI class (that's gonna take up my whole weekend 'cause it's a 20 hr class when the state I got my DUI in only requires a 12 hr class) and a victim's impact panel that there's no telling how much it'll cost. Just the stress from being on probation in 2 places and having to pay fines in 2 states and checking in with probation twice a month and trying to meet all their requirements and driving on a suspended license and shit has me running low on my kpins and I get 90 a month and don't really abuse them, and have ambien for sleep.

One state really wants me to violate so they can throw me in jail too. I swear my probation paperwork said I'd only be given 2 drug tests but I've had 3-4 in 5 months and in back to back months. That shit would be even more expensive on me if I wasn't already getting drug tested at a 'done clinic and using those tests. This month they told me they wanted a "supervised" drug test too! If I wasn't going to the 'done clinic, I'd be fucked and pretty much would for sure be going to jail unless I found some 'done or fentanyl patches or something like that on the street that wouldn't show up on a 5 panel. But odds are, I'd be using dope and that would definitely show up as opiates. My only chance would be a 6 month old scripted bottle of morphine that I could say is why I failed the test. That or I'd have to find a pain management doctor and only take those for the week or so before I have to check in with my probation officer.

Praying they just want your money and don't give a shit that you missed. From my experience, they just want your money but like what I just said, there are some that it seems like they want to violate you so they can throw you in jail. Good luck, I know how stressful this shit is.

EDIT: If I was in a state that allowed 'done in jail and I could also get my kpins/adds/ambien(or just kpins), and/or I didn't have a habit and wasn't claustrophobic, I'd just do my time so I wouldn't be working for them and giving them all my hard earned money and to get it over with faster. Being on probation is harder than doin jail time (if u don't have a habit). I'm working my ass off and get paid decent money and I'm still broke from having to pay all their fucking fines for bullshit charges. If I was allowed my kpins and 'done in jail, I'd just chill and nod out while watching TV for a few weeks and be done with this shit.
