I haven't checked these videos out yet, I will, but I just wanted to ask if you've seen the vice episode on Kim Jong Un? It is so surreal... the vice crew takes Dennis Rodman (apparently fat boy and his dad were huge Bulls fans) to best Korea and have a basketball game vs Kims guys. Oh yeah, the Harlem Globe Trotters go too... it is so fucking weird and crazy... I would think it was a hoax if there wasn't video.

I saw the vice travel guide to true korea, but not the kim jong un one.  The travel guide was good, but it's the same tour that everyone gets.  I want to see actual best korean life.  North Korea is my secret fascination as well hero.  I remember seeing a video of a rural part once and there were marijuana plants all over along with the corn. 


The corn is apparently grown by the state, and people earn a share based on work they do.  I wonder if the weed is the same way.  I would spend every waking minute tending to those plants, and babying them if it worked the same way.  Get some poppies going in there and you can guarantee the devotion of your workers.  Until the poppies are gone at least.
