« on: November 10, 2015, 12:09:36 AM »
to all the Linux junkies :

(and the main table crashes, no biggie apparently, no DB restore required just an SQL repair on it)

shirobug has been a godsend and has explained how Linux handles stress.

if anybody else has thoughts on my the system might have reason to just crap out then feel free to comment.

(OS) the Operating System is CentOS Linux 6.7

i beg to differ, if i may ... she chugs along at about 2% busy on *average* ... the site can handle plenty more users, i feel ... if not, an upgrade is one option that is even affordable and in the budget.

sorry, thanks for your help but this has been resolved by adding swap space and closing redundant apps.

edit: InnoDB DB engine now implemented  (2017) so no more table crashes.
