Diazepam vs. Temazepam on Sleep Quality and Profile

I am running a tiny benzo habit that presents as insomnia.

I was scheduled (involuntary) as a Psych patient recently for around 6 weeks and i was initially prescribed the following:

Diaz ~ 20 mg. (10 bid) for 2 weeks, 10 (5 bid) for one week, requested 20 mg. Temazepam (nocte) to replace the Diaz.

Then i had about 8 x 10 mg. Temazepam (prn) to see me through, resorting to 5 mg.

Then OLZ (Olanzapine) prn to overide the insomnia (on top of a monthly switch from Palperidone to OLZ depot (405 mg. per month)).

I am now trying to negotiate 25 x 10 mg. every 5/6 weeks and wrote this for any others in my position.

Temazepam also causes me the most euphoria so that's why i like it and doesn't have that nasty 200 hour half life active metabolite, Desmethyldiazepam !
