My mega dose Pregablin/Lyrica experience + WARNING !

I met a junkie in MacDonald's and he gave me 7 * 300 mg Lyrica for nix .... i took a few and felt nothing and assumed it my tolerance to Gabapentinoids.

I took the rest ... Fuck me, an hour later I was smashed, tripping and everything was wobbly and drifting. A bit like MDMA and GHB together, without the stimulation.

smoked a couple of points of some poor quality Meth and couldn't feel a thing.

that was last night, I passed out for 8 hours and I'm still stoned almost 24 hours later !

I had no idea that stuff was that psychoactive but I did take 2.1 grams ...

I was amazed !

After some more research, I realised that I still haven't found any reports of anyone taking such a high dose.

I wondered why and it's because this drug can have a paradoxical effect and cause the very seizures it is known to inhibit, for certain people on not necessarily high doses.

I've heard similar things about gabapentin. No personal experiences with lyrica. It's on the to do list once it crosses my path.  I'm told it's better than gabapentin. However it is a scheduled med in my country, so I'm not able to get it as readily.

Just saw a commercial for lyrica last night. The person claiming their nerve pain was handled with lyrica, and associated friends, and family looked so happy! Their life was perfect, with their loved one on lyrica! Maybe mine will be too! HAHAHAHAHAHA

These GABA drugs can have some scary effects.

That's exactly how I feel and what happens to me when I take smaller doses of Lyrica, and that's why I like it, along with getting rid of most of my wd. My highest Lyrica dose has been around 750mg. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

I guess I'll step up to the plate as the Lyrica "expert" here.

I've taken 2g daily repeatedly when I'm having a bad time. I want to be smashed in my head to drown out the shit going on around me. Or when I want to sleep I'll drop 600mg on top of the 2g taken during the day. Lyrica doesn't provide the euphoria of opiates but that doesn't stop me from taking more and more hoping to hit euphoria. But that never happens.

I've developed a tolerance to the tripping and "drunk" appearance of Lyrica. I've also developed a tolerance to the intense need to eat from Lyrica. I still get that eating desire if I go off Lyrica for a couple weeks and start again.

The one thing that's unpredictable with Lyrica is my stuttering. Sometimes on high doses I stutter constantly, other times on low doses I do the same.

The other unpredictable thing is trembling hands. Sometimes I can barely type, other times high doses make no difference.

I will say high dose lyrica during opiate cessation will effectively nullify withdrawals. Oh, you'll still have shitting but not explosive. There is NO paws. NONE.  PAWS was the worst thing for me when I ran out of opiates and had to tough it out for 2 weeks until my next fill.
