a packet of cigs now costs me (cheapest) $30.

i have to cut way down and stop so i am using the transdermal method.

it works well so now i want a meth patch and an MDMA patch and so on ...

i wonder how the fent patches go ?

a pack of 20 cigs is $30 in Aus? that's fucking crazy, that's $1.50 each! What's a USD compared to an Aussie dollar? I'm hoping 5 Aus dollars = 1 USD or some shit.

I pay $3.76 for pall malls lately. Usually smoke Marlboro's but been trying to save money the last few months. I'd have a $45 smoking habit in Australia. The wife and I would have $75 a day smoking habits. We've spent $80 a day on dope and gotten half a gram of good ECP everyday. I think I'd have to quit before I'd spend that much on cigs, but I also said that when they went from $2 to $3 and then $3 to $4 and then $4 to $5. I'd at least cut down to one or two a day.

I make over $22 an hour but I still don't think I could pay $30 for a fucking pack of cigs. Maybe once a month for after sex or after an IV shot, etc..

i've been rolling cigs forever. in the u.s. you can buy "pipe tobacco" that isn't pipe tobacco, just marketed as such because pipe tobacco is taxed at a lower rate. I buy it by the pound & costs me about $2 a day, maybe less.

I have quit cold turkey before and that urge is really strong. Ozzie Osbourne told Howard Stern that quitting smoking cigs was way harder than quitting H or coke, etc.. Even when I quit using patches and gum/lozenges, that urge to smoke a cig was still strong...especially when having an alcoholic beverage or smoking weed, etc..
BUT I think I could cut down a lot if it came down to buying drugs or cigs. I know I'd have to have a cig for when I lose my temper, after sex, after a good shot of dope, etc..

I'm with MoeMentim though, buy tobacco and roll your own cigs. I know folks that do it and they say it's about half as much as buying cigs. They can roll 20 cigs for about $2-3 instead of buying a pack of cigs for $5-6. They've also come a long way on the machines that roll them for you so you don't have to take forever rolling it like a joint every single time you want a cig.
