Some of the easiest psychological tricks to play on other:

● Saying 'You're right!' instead of 'I know' makes you look less like an asshole and doesn't diminish something someone else may have just found out.

● When somebody shy is speaking, if you look at them and nod your head, it encourages them to keep talking.

● Instead of asking, 'Do you have any questions?' ask, 'What questions do you have?' The first almost always results in silence, while the second helps people feel comfortable asking questions.

● If you need to deescalate someone and get them to communicate, ask them questions about numbers or personal information

● When you have something important to say to your kids, say it very quietly so that they listen. They're immune to your yelling, but whispering gets their attention.

● To avoid workplace drama and be liked, compliment people behind their back

● Say hello to everybody you know, and say it with as so little effort for a person to find you friendly!

Important life facts to know as early as possible in life:

Know that your only competition is who you were yesterday.

Earn, save and invest before you spend.

Avoid negative people, life is too short.

If you don't go after what you want, you will never get it.

Everyone you love is going to die.

We give our lives meaning. If you feel like life is meaningless, that's your fault.

The perfect partner doesn't exist.

Concentrate on finding someone who has a lot of qualities you like and the same values and build a fantastic relationship.

Life is a game. Find the games you want to play, learn the rules, and find a way to be successful at the games you selected.

Everything ends. Youth, love, life, all ends, and that's what makes them valuable.

Be romantic about little things.

Be a realist about the big things. Life isn't a movie, you need to have a plan, have an artist's ambition, but an engineer's mindset.

Figure out a way or don't complain.

See failure as a beginning, not an end.

Our habits decide our future.

5. There are only three things you can always rely on that won’t disappoint you: your pocket, your health, and above all, your God.

6. Keep your needs and desires secret from others.

7. Not everyone who talks to you with a smile loves you.

9. Take care of yourself... make your mind and heart the source of your happiness, and you will never regret it!

10. Enjoy life by being a little crazy because wise people die early!

11. Pursue your small hobbies and passions, even if they seem trivial to others.

14. One day, you will realize that you worried more than you needed to... and that God had arranged everything perfectly for you, giving you things you never even hoped or wished for.

1. As a man, you must never run out of options

No matter if it is in dating or business opportunities.

Build yourself up and make yourself irreplaceable,

That's how as a man you can be part of 1%.

2. Never let other people kill your dreams

Never give control of your life to someone else,

You will need up nowhere.

You need to realize that people don't want you to surpass them,

They want you to stay with them where they are and live an average comfortable life.

3. Stop waiting for the right opportunity

If opportunities don't come,

Go out and hunt for them because not everything in life goes as planned.

And nothing is going to happen,

When you don't take any action towards your goal.

4. Focus on progress not perfection

The path you will be on is full of fear, depression and anxiety.

Have no expectations and just keep going.

Take each step day by day and enjoy the process,

The reason BILLIONS of people lose is because all they think about is being perfect in every situation.

5. Stop complaining about the results

People always complain about the results that they should have,

But they don't realise that they haven't put in the work in the first place.

They need to realise that if they are working 6 hours a day,

Somebody else out there is working 12 hours a day.

6. Use your brain to your advantage

You can learn to store billions of memories in your brain,

So use it rather than filling it up with junk.

Start reading books because you can gain decades of knowledge in some hours,

The more you learn in your journey the more you will realise that you know nothing.

7. Never chase women let them chase you

Remember that she is part of the GAME and not the whole GAME,

Never let her 10$ beauty distract you from your purpose.

Make yourself so valuable that low value women can't afford you,

Women chase men who chase their purpose.

8. Stop relying on motivation

90% Man needs to get into the zone so they can start doing their work,

A high value man doesn't need to watch motivational reels to start his work.

He knows that no one is coming to pay his bills and he has to do everything by himself,

Remember that motivation is temporary and discipline is permanent.

After sex, men want to sleep and women want to talk.

Men express their strongest feelings through the art of making love.

According to a survey, men can listen to their male friends for ages, but they can only listen to their girlfriend or wife for six minutes.

Most men love women with thicker and longer hair.

According to Psychological facts of the male study, males wearing shirts look more attractive than the ones wearing T-shirts.

Men hate asking for help most of the time and will avoid talking any help until they feel they can't do it by themselves.

Men don't like comparison and hate if any female will compare them to other males.

Men are physically strong but emotionally weak compared to women.

1. Never let anyone hear you complain. Your feelings are irrelevant to others, do what needs to be done with a smile on your face.

2. Act with irrational self-belief. It doesn't matter if others say you can't , since you know you can. Ignore their opinions, you can do anything.

3. Admit when you are wrong. You don't know everything. Own up to your mistakes as quickly as possible as it's the fastest way for you to learn.

4. Progress is made through iteration. If you claim you're going to do something, hold yourself responsible. Your reputation is your sole asset.

5. Control your emotions. Your emotions cloud your judgment. People will look to you for guidance andikes leadership. Don't react , be decisive.

6. Meaningful influence. Most people drift through life. They have no purpose, no direction, and zero intent. Learn their needs, and lead them.

The ‘3-word rule’ that makes ChatGPT give expert-level responses,
the concept is simple: Add a short, three-word directive to your prompt that tells ChatGPT how to respond. These three words can instantly shape the tone, voice and depth of the output. You’re not rewriting your whole question. You’re just giving the AI a lens through which to answer:

1. “Like a lawyer” — for structured, detailed and logical responses

2. “Be a teacher” — for simplified, clear and educational explanations

3. “Act like Hemingway” — for punchy, minimalist writing with impact

Someone asked a friend who has crossed 70 & is heading towards 80 what sort of changes he is feeling in himself? He sent  the following:

1. After loving my parents, my siblings, my spouse, my children and my friends, I have now started loving myself.

2. I have realized that I am not “Atlas”. The world does not rest on my shoulders.

3. I have stopped bargaining with vegetable & fruit vendors. A few pennies more is not going to break me, but it might help the poor fellow save for his daughter’s school fees.

4. I leave my waitress a big tip. The extra money might bring a smile to her face. She is toiling much harder for a living than I am.

5. I stopped telling the elderly that they've already told that story many times. The story makes them walk down memory lane & relive their past.

6. I have learned not to correct people even when I know they are wrong. The onus of making everyone perfect is not on me. Peace is more precious than perfection.

7. I give compliments freely & generously. Compliments are a mood enhancer not only for the recipient, but also for me. And a small tip for the recipient of a compliment, never, NEVER turn it down, just say "Thank You.”

8. I have learned not to bother about a crease or a spot on my shirt. Personality speaks louder than appearances.

9. I walk away from people who don't value me. They might not know my worth, but I do.

10. I remain cool when someone plays dirty to outrun me in the rat race. I am not a rat & neither am I in any race.

11. I am learning not to be embarrassed by my emotions. It’s my emotions that make me human.

12. I have learned that it's better to drop the ego than to break a relationship. My ego will keep me aloof, whereas with relationships, I will never be alone.

13. I have learned to live each day as if it's the last. After all, it might be the last.

14. I am doing what makes me happy. I am responsible for my happiness, and I owe it to myself; Happiness is a choice. You can be happy at any time, just choose to be !

Some interesting things psychology can tell you about someone just by watching or looking at them:

ADVICE FROM OLD PEOPLE:

1. The most important person in your life is the person who agreed to share their life with you. Treat them as such.

2. You might live a long life, or you might live a short one — who knows. But either way, trust me when I say that you’re going to wish you took better care of yourself in your youth.

3. Stuff is just stuff. Don’t hold onto material objects, hold onto time and experiences instead.

4. Jealousy destroys relationships. Trust your significant other, because who else are you supposed to trust?

5. People always say, “Make sure you get a job doing what you love!” But that isn’t the best advice. The right job is the job you love some days, can tolerate most days, and still pays the bills. Almost nobody has a job they love every day.

6. If you’re getting overwhelmed by life, just return to the immediate present moment and savour all that is beautiful and comforting. Take a deep breath, relax.

7. Years go by in the blink of an eye. Don’t marry young. Live your life. Go places. Do things. If you have the means or not. Pack a bag and go wherever you can afford to go. While you have no dependents, don’t buy stuff. Any stuff. See the world. Look through travel magazines and pick a spot. GO!

8. Don’t take life so seriously. Even if things seem dark and hopeless, try to laugh at how ridiculous life is.

9. A true friend will come running if you call them at 2am. Everyone else is just an acquaintance.

10. Children grow up way too fast. Make the most of the time you have with them.

11. Nobody ever dies wishing they had worked more. Work hard, but don’t prioritize work over family, friends, or even yourself.

12. Eat and exercise like you’re a diabetic heart patient with a stroke — so you never actually become one.

13. Maybe this one isn’t as profound as the others, but I think it’s important… Floss regularly, dental problems are awful.

14. Don’t take anyone else’s advice as gospel. You can ask for advice from someone you respect, then take your situation into consideration and make your own decision. Essentially, take your own advice is my advice…

15. The joints you damage today will get their revenge later. Even if you think they’ve recovered completely. TRUST ME!

16. We have one time on this earth. Don’t wake up and realize that you are 60 years old and haven’t done the things you dreamed about.

17. Appreciate the small things and to be present in the moment. What do I mean? Well, it seems today like younger people are all about immediate gratification. Instead, why not appreciate every small moment? We don’t get to stay on this crazy/wonderful planet forever and the greatest pleasure can be found in the most mundane of activities. Instead of sending a text, pick up the phone and call someone. Call your mother, have a conversation about nothing in particular. Those are the moments to hold onto.

18. Pay your bills and stay the hell out of debt. If I could have paid myself all the money I’ve paid out in interest over the years, I’d be retired already.

19. If you have a dream of being or doing something that seems impossible, try for it anyway. It will only become more impossible as you age and become responsible for other people.

And finally, the last piece of advice:

20. When you meet someone for the first time, stop and realize that you really know nothing about them. You see race, gender, age, clothes. Forget it all. You know nothing. Those biased assumptions that pop into your head because of the way your brain likes categories, are limiting your life, and other people’s lives.

This will be my last set of tips for a while - thanks, Quora for most of the source material (with the odd edit by myself).

The best way to live a peaceful life:

1. Don’t cry for someone who hurts you. Just smile and say, "Thank you for letting me find someone better!"

2. Don’t be mad at jealous people; they envy you because they think you’re greater than them.

3. Don’t spend time trying to get back at others. Those who hurt you will face their own consequences in time.

4. Keep your plans a secret. Show everyone the results instead.

5. Your feelings aren’t for sale, so don’t show them off. Just show your attitude instead.

6. Don’t give up. Your time to shine will come; it just takes a little while.

7. If you help someone expecting something back, you’re not being kind; you’re making a deal.

8. Trust is really important, but if it’s broken, just saying "sorry" isn’t enough.

9. Remember, where you are now isn’t where you’ll always be. Better things are coming.

10. Don’t leave a good relationship for small faults. Everyone makes mistakes; love is more important than being perfect.

11. Don’t go to a funeral just to show you cared for someone. Show your care while they are still alive.

12. Don’t promise things when you’re happy, and don’t make decisions when you’re sad.

13. Don’t expect loyalty from people who can’t be honest with you.

14. Keep going! The start is usually the hardest part.

15. You won’t understand how precious a moment is until it’s gone. Treasure the good times before they become memories.

16. Finally, appreciation is a simple way to get what you don’t have. After reading something nice, remember to say, "Thank you for the message!"  :)

I couldn't resist adding some more:

1. Never play with someone's feelings just for your happiness. You may win the game, but the risk is that you will surely lose the person for a lifetime.

2. Never stop to make yourself better. No matter what you know, the minute you stop building yourself, you begin to deteriorate.

3. Never think that you are not good enough. In life, people will take you for what or how you present yourself.

4. Never lose hope in life. To hope, is to breathe life, to free your mind from fear and pessimism and fill it with optimism and positive thinking. So, no matter how difficult your life gets, never deprive yourself of hope.

5. Never lose your self-respect. Self-respect is a form of self-care.

6. Never beg for opportunities. Snatch them. When you beg for opportunities (including jobs), you will be seen as inexperienced and of low value. It is much better to have confident in the value you have to offer than to beg.

7. Never take anyone or anything in life for granted. Taking things for granted is considered irresponsible, even damaging. Taking your spouse for granted is a surefire way to make them feel unloved. Taking your income for granted can put you at financial risk if you lose your job. Taking your health for granted can lead you to take poor care of yourself.

8. Even if the world takes advantage of you, never let the good in you d!e.

What Real Confidence Means:

1. Confidence isn't thinking you'll always win. It's being okay if you don't.

2. People don't notice your flaws unless you point them out. Don't talk about your fears so much.

3. Loud people aren't always confident. True confidence is calm and quiet.

4. Don't explain too much. Say what you need and be silent.

5. You don't have to feel confident to act confident. Acting comes first, feeling comes later.

6. Chasing approval scares respect away. Seeking validation is loud; self-respect is quiet.

7. Looking unsure is worse than being wrong. People trust people who believe in themselves.

9 Important Things Every Man Should Do to Earn a Woman’s Respect:

Women respect a man who can make decisions confidently and take responsibility for them. It’s not about always being right, but owning your choices.

Trust is built by doing what you say, especially in little things. Keeping promises matters more than grand gestures.

Being respected means feeling your emotions but staying steady. Calm and composed men are seen as strong and trustworthy.

Let people know what’s okay and what’s not. This shows you respect yourself, and others will respect you for it too.

Focus on one skill you love and get better at it every day. Mastery shows dedication and confidence.

It’s not about showing off money but being stable and planning for the future. Having your finances in order lifts a lot of stress.

How you behave in social settings matters. Treat everyone well and be aware of how groups work. It shows you’re confident and smart.

You don’t need to be a bodybuilder, but staying healthy shows discipline and pride. Exercise, sleep well, and eat right, it all counts.

Curiosity makes you interesting and adaptable. Always look for new things to learn and experiences to enjoy.
