I read this article the other day. Definely interesting how the brain is almost childlike in its functioning on L. I imagine taking LSD and being heavily addicted to opiates (especially if you IV) being a real pain in the ass.

Yeah,it's not very pleasant-best to have a shot before you come up or use orally-I've shot up whilst tripping and I can't say I'd recommend it.

it's odd but I seldom remember much of my drug use but I'll never forget my acid trips (or DMT trips) .... Ketamine comes a close second. Opiate OD's next.
I firmly hold the belief that every sane person should drop acid at least once in their lives, mandated by law !
LSD is anti-addictive, too.
