So my friend and I have been maintaining using Suboxone strips for the past week. Her because she's trying to get off, me because I've been too broke for my preferred med (I say med because though I don't deny a good high I do have serious legit problems). But anyway, we've been taking 1.5mg of Bupe everyday for a week as I said, but finally got some money together and picked up some 8mg Dilaudid's (qty10) & some 10mg Methadone's (qty25). I waited as long as I could, which ended up being 12-13 hours before doing my first shot (one 8mg shield) and it gave a toe curling-nut-busting rush, like harder than usual if I didn't do anything at all for 36hrs. I figured with the Bupe not just from 12 hours ago but built up from all week would've it'd give me a mild buzz at best. Totally caught me off guard, in the best way possible. But does this make any sense to anybody?

I have heard that in micro doses bupe can act more like a potentiator than an antagonist. I thought it only worked that way in tiny doses, like <1mg, but I haven't had personal experience with it. Guess it's your lucky day huh?

Thought I should add that I IV the D's (obviously?) but the 1.5ish-mg was sublingual strip. As far as I know IV Bupe blockage is another beast entirely.

I have been on suboxone for 9 years and I constantly get high while taking it. I am on 1.5mg a day myself right now down from 2mg a day just a couple weeks ago. I still bang dope on a consistent basis, 3-5 times a week at this point.
Due to the sub in my system I believe is part of the reason I have to use so much herion, that and I do have a massive tolerance. I found that I could shoot dope and still get high even taking up to 6mg a day. Once I start taking over 6mg a day the effect that dope has is greatly diminished.

Wow this is good to know cause I just got back on subs. So y'all are saying that at .5mg per day it is usually possible to feel other opiates such as 60-90mg oxy or .1-.3g H after only a short wait like 24-26 hours?

Couple things, if you were taking the .5 sublingually I'd say youll have NO please problem. If you were IVing that point .5 I really couldn't tell you. And I'm not sure how much it takes to start building up in your system, I was only on the 1.5mb sublingually for 4-5 days not weeks or months before. And lastly, I was IVing Dilaudid which tends to break-thru any blocking effects a bit better than oxycodone (you may have meant oxymorphone idk? In which case ud be even better off) but for ME the "rush" from 8mg Dilaudid is equal to roughly 90mg oxyCODONE. (Except following a 90mg oxycodone shot I tend to get a much more pleasurable nod). If I was rich I'd mix them Everytime lol.
But overall, yea you'll be good.

I can definitely attest to this
When I was in subs I never used more than 1mg daily
I never once had a problem with precipitated withdrawal or anything
And would use oxy on top of it or simultaneously in the same line (Definitely not advised)
I have heard people suggest 2mg anything doses where blocking starts
But I think it's likely more people need around 4mg to start properly blocking
Mind you, I had no business being on those subs
Being only what I'd now consider a chipper
Taking between 60-120 mg of oxycodone a few times a month
Then 30-60 every week
I think my mind was still relatively untouched in terms of what a real tolerance can be
And by tolerance I mean the point at which you are physically dependent for more than a few months
So nice to be clean now 8)
