Back to South America.......
« on: May 02, 2016, 11:46:31 PM »
s most of you know, last Spring I went down to Ecuador doe 2 months (May and June), I chose Ecuador for several reasons; the most significant was their recently rewritten constitution that decriminalized ALL drugs, recognized the rights of both animals AND the Earth itself, kicked out the US military, upheld a lawsuit oaqistf over $9Billion against Chevron and Texaco on behalf of the Indigiones peoples and  nature and more,

Basically the rejected "neo-liberlist" policies that are destroying the world purely for unlimited economic growth.

All that is admirable but it was the several cups of coco tea and a few grams of powder every day that made it an adventure to remember.

Now, its Spring again, end of Summer below the Equator. I'm thinking of going back to Ecuador but the days most drugs are decrimialized in South America and parts of Europe so I don't havee to go there to indulge in that. I'm thinking now of a trip back to Ecuador then on to Peru to hike up Machu Pichu, see some "anceint Alins" architecture, surf the Pacific, drink ayuasca/yage and see god, take a boat down the Amazon and toss hamburger to piraƱas.

There's more world out there that you can possibly see. The best yu can do is visit a fraction of it. When I was college-age I though I had forever to explore the world. Now that I'm probably past the halfway mark, I think its time to start geting a move on and explore.

Personally, I'm not too interests in seing the well-know, often visited tourit spots. I want to see the weird shit, the places they don't tell you about in high school but leave a lasting sense of awe and impression when you do see them.

One thing is for sure, wherever I go, recreational drugs will be legal and cheap. I paid the "gringo price" of $20/gram, thats less than a good hotel room.

So soes anyone else want to come and wander beow the equator, drink ayahuasca andcoca tea and do big , fat fresh lines and not mea being arrested for a split second?

Lol you had me picturing you on top of some awesome mountain with the wind blowing at your hair while feeling like a million bucks. Im really happy you get to travel the world like that. Ive been to Europe and Mexico and theres few things better than wandering different parts of the world looking for an adventure. I am also like you, I wouldnt go to see the major attractions but rather find the lesser known spots. Wandering through historical museums or observing buildings that are centuries old with nothing on your mind but joy... Good luck to you and I hope you find some good adventures. Let us know how it went.

anax.

Is that some rectal suppository formulation of Xanax?

Just playing, but not playing around when I say that I would love to go spend a few months in South America.  Personally I would rent a room in a smallish city that is still sizable enough to have all of the "amenities" that a growing boy like me requires.  Then I would go around and do local trips to smaller towns in various places and may be even other countries.  Make some connections, take some chances, have some seriously fun risky behaviour that breaks the moulds that we fall into as affluent Northern white men.  Personally I would be taking Spanish classes, because just speaking the same language takes you from "white guy with money that I can exploit" to "Nice guy with money who is fun to hang out with.  I might rip him off, but it is more fun to just party with him because he's nice, generous, and funny."

Fitting into category 2 opens up lots of doors in my experience in various countries and different cultures.  Language is the biggest door opener and equalizer ever.  Speaking someone's language puts you on an equal level instead of you forcing them to accomodate you.  Just having people feel like you are meeting them partway makes such a big difference in the way you're percvieved and treated.

Have fun with it man.  Are you going back to the same country?  Have you kept in touch with people that you met down there?

How's this for a whacky fun as hell idea?  Move to a foreign country with cheap easy access to drugs, and sell them online through onion sites and email lists.  Set up some drop shipping deals with local distributors in the us (for example) and pass on the markup to them as profit.  Take over the world and have lots of drugs.

Buy a missle on the black market, and hold the world ransom for ... one meeeelion dollars.

@Taytoechip That show is super legit. Can you imagine walking into an airport knowing you got pounds of coke strapped to you? And then realizing if you get caught its fucking over. I always wondered if theres some guy out there that has done like 60 runs and never got caught. It takes some serious stones to do that shit...

yeah dude they always get all cocky and shit, then bam, butt fucked by a bamboo stick.

To elaborate on my post a bit more, I just dont see myself being able to just "walk away" after a month or 2 long binge on the finest of fine these places offer for such reasonable prices. I'd be the dude in the bathroom of the airport trying to cram an entire key of Lois Lane up the old bhole

Thanks for the replies. I didn't even know they existed until just now.

Lst year I went to Ecuador for 2 moths. There ll drugs have been decriminalized and you can have up to 2 grems of coke n you and you will not be arrested. I boguht alprazolam (Xanax) OTC all th time for about 50c a mg. Nothing bad happened and I spak passableSpanish which heped .

This year I am planning on heading to Colombia for about 6 weeks. From what I have read posession of up to a gram of coke is decriminalized but this is recent and Colombia has a reputatin for coke so consequently many tourists get set up to be robbed or busted so they have to ay a bribe to go free. I figure I will do what I did in Ecuador and casually ask a hotel staff person "Is it ttrue that coacaine is legal here?" in my shity Spanish. With luck one of the waiters or busboys or someone at the hotel will be happy to drop off a gram or two at your rooom especially if you tip them a few dollars. I was spending $20g 2+ g's a day in Ecuador and it was almost always high quality with hardly any of the speedy paranoia I'd get with coke up in the US.

From what I have heard the many opiods we have here are almost non-existant there and the H they produce is for export.

If I can make a reliable, quality. inexpensive coke connection and can add some benzos to balance it out I'll be just fine. Th biggest hassle is getting my insurance to "let" me have a 2 month supply of buprenorphine. They are totally fine with prividing 30 days worth 2 times in 60 days but not 1 time in 60 days even though my consumption works out exactly the same.

Oh, and coca tea is generally available throughout the Andes and although it doesn't really get you high, the shit is GREAT. You can get by on 2 or 3 cups a dy and not eat much and still have plenty of energy and no altitude sickness.I was over 20 pounds lener and in better shape after my trip last year because I lived on the tea and coke, walked everywhere and didn't eat American-style fatty/sugary foods at all. I'm conviced Americans are fat notonly because they re lazy nd overeat but also because our food has so many things like bovine growth hormone and antibiotics that we are fattening ourelves up like we fatten our cattle.

So the plan is to buy a round trip ticket to Cartagena which is on the Caribbean, stay there for a couple of weks and find out other spots that are worth visiting  (it's hard to tell from guidebooks because they try to make every little village sound "magical." Inside Colombia flying is the best way to get around beause the roads and busses are slow and unsafe.

I keep telling myself i HAVE TO get to Machu Picchu but y concern is I'll get there and be one of 10,000 Gringos with backpacks staring at 10,000 Gringos looking at old ruins.

And, as much as I like adveturous travel I wish I knew someone to bring along who shares my tastes in pharmaceuticals but finding others who do and have the time and money to go is difficult.

With the election going on here and the ever-increasing police state BS in the US I go on these trips hoping I can find a place I like and a way to support myself and I'd stay, at least most of the year.

I am bumbing this thread in an attempt to get some more infor as my departure date isn ow close. I leave on June 10 for Medelling (yes, THAT Medellin) and am scheduled to fl y back on July19th.  ALthough I lan to spend a good block of time in Medellin to start, if I can, I will make side tris to Cali, Cartagena, Santa Marta and possibly Peru.

From what I understand Colombian people are the absolute most friendly and elecoming peole in Latin America. The Anthony Bourdain food trade show there made the food look amazing. The women are gorgeeous and take great care to look their best at all times. And... currently, carrying up to 1 gram of cocain is not a ceimw nd I suspect making a connection isnt hard becasue there are many, many US expats living there. Although many drugs are available over the counter and many like Xanax, while technically are not, in practice you get them if you ask nicely and play pay a small "gringo tax," ANd things like steroids and Viagra are sold completely OTC and all this makes for some pretty wild parties that include lots of sex.

By bumping this I am hoping that anyone who has any real, hopefully recent information can share it with me, athugh there is a lot f intense and YouTube informtion for staying in Colombia as a gringo.

One thing I have learned on line though is scary as shit. The plant that produces scopolamine (called "Devil's Breath) grows everywhere and getting the frugs frm the plants is as easy as collecting seds from followers. For those who don't know, scopalamine is the date rape drug from hell. Potential victims are sliped a dose in their drink and before too long fel drunk but otherwise normal, with a couple very creepy side effects: you lose all you judgement and free will and memory of the time you are on it.

Consequently, there are gangs that runscams where a girl finds a man who appears (or is known to have resources) and in the course of flirting with him in a club slips in the scopolamine and after a while gets him to leave, ostensibly for sex. Then she suggests they need som money , does he have an ATM card? IF the drug is working he says yeah, sure. What's your pin?" and he tells here. They stop and get cash  and she checks his balance and daily w/d limit. Then she steers him home. All the time he SEEMS wide awake and lucent but is under her control.

When they get to his place she calls her boyfriend/accomplises and teslls them where to come. They show u and suggest to him he neds to give them more money so please give them all his cards and their PINS. Others are there to tell him how much they like [everything he owns] and suggest to him he would like them to have it.

To the vicitm this makes perfecect sense and he often helps them haul every valuable item, even furniture into three waiting van downstairs. Sometimes, if the vicim has a high credit limit they keem him drugged for 3 or  days and keep taking out the daily maximum on his bank accounts until they get shut down. Then they  strip him of any nice clothes, even sis shoes and leave him on a park bench to wake up next day and try to figure out what happened.

As "B" movie as this sounds it is a real thing and frankly, it gives me some second thughsts on visiting Colombia. But if you don't let your drink out of your site, or skid drinking altogether, or party with a local who is a real friend chances are very good that you will be fine.

Here are a couple links and videos on the subject:

http://www.vice.com/video/colombian-devil-s-breath-1-of-2  (not all in English)

http://colombiareports.com/medellin-reports-133-increase-in-scopolamine-use-by-robbers-and-rapists/

There are plnty more just search Colombia + Scopolamine

I think I'll be sure any hotel I stay in has a safe for guests at the frnt desk.

But again if ANYONE has anything to share about Colombia and or any other countries in South America, particualrly in relation to their trend in decriminalizing hard drugs, please share them with me.

And if all goes well, you w ill be getting daily pictures of my "blue plate specials" like this one from last year:  OTC Goodies

     -OTC BENZOS

   One Afternoon's Delivery of "Puro"

Super jealous of you dc, that is so awesome, can you get opiates otc? or do you have to get H from a dealer you find? How hard would that be to source I figure cocaine would be really easy to source but I honestly have no idea. Please keep us updated with daily pictures. You have honestly inspired me to try to goto south america within the next 3 years thank you take many pictures I hope to hear a lot about it when you get back so that I can begin to plan my trip.

You need a passport to go out of the country right? Can a dui, DV harrassment, or misdemeanor possession bar you from getting your passport, I am praying that I get off off probation in January and that after that I get my passport and can visit next year I would love to do those motorcycle/scooter like trips to Argentina or chile. Do you need anything more than a passport if you plan on spending more than a few weeks or goto more than one country?

Good luck to you I hope you have wonderful safe travels will you be able to update while you are there or only when you get back?
