Ok like the title says ...ok a little background Ive been on methadone for 9 years now. t
The last 5 I have been injecting all my take homes 13 bottles, my dose is 165 I pick them up on Thursdays every two weeks.
By sunday or mondayish I'm usually out and go threw hell until my next pickup date I keep telling my self leading up to my pickup day that I am never going to shoot them and I'm going to give my takehomes to a goodfriend to hold and dispense them to me so I don't blow threw them as I usally inject 4 165mg bottles at a time with a 15 ml rig and before I know it I'm out .
I was want to know if the halflife of oral methadone when injected is less than when taken oraly ? It seems to me that it keeps me well for around four to 10 hours tops

4 to 10 hours ? That can't be right ?,are you not fucking with your own head ?;half your oral dose should get you right via iv...
It does me anyway ..I run out and am well for up to Two days ...I inject as well ...try shooting one th and see how you feel ..methadone is strong ..you should be well for at least 24 hours after that

I shoot about 900mgs at a time and then I'm good for two or three days. It's gotta be psychosomatic, even if you were a fast metabolizer, there's no way it'd only last 10 hours (certainly not 4). You might not experience pain relief after 4-10 hours, but you wouldn't be in legit withdrawal.

Yea 10 hours is insane, never heard of that, 4 hours is just...unfathomable unless you're injecting Suboxone or something 4 hours after the methadone, haha, quite ridiculous thought, just the only thing I could think of.
I've been IV'ing my doses for about the last 4 years, 120mg a day. Has anyone else who IV's their liquids noticed problems with their teeth? Like I've never had cavities and brush twice a day, blah blah blah. Never have done meth, and haven't touched crack or coke or MDMA in 26 months. I know the sugar in the 'done can't be great for my mouth, and probably had to come up and out somewhere. Do you think it's leading to my quick teeth decay? In the last year I've had 2 pulled, 2 root canals and am currently in the middle of another horrendous tooth ache.

Anyways carry on. I always wondered what iv methsdone would be like but i better not go threre lol. Seems to be contrary to the whole purpose of methadone.

... methadone is slightly more bioavailable when used IV than oral - you lose about an hour on each end with the IV route.
... i find that the half life is a constant unless potentiators are involved.
