US$10,000 buys you the Seagate 60TB SSD - the highest capacity drive as of time of writing (3.5-inch).

Samsung is claiming same with it's 2.5-inch 32TB model with greater data density, chip wise.

i wouldn't buy it. i remember when 2tb harddrives first came out (at a regular everyday price. expensive but affordable) but they had a bad tendency of dying within a year.

oh shit i just realized you said 60TB SSD. HOLY-FUCK. i was thinking hard disc.

all my desktops/laptops and this site run SSD.

don't Defrag them if you run Windows. they have never failed me yet.

I have about 20 HDD's for archival/media servers and they make me very nervous.

10 grand is no small fee ... you will find Petabyte+caching RAID HDD boxes in lights-out sites.

yeah, I love SSD. 60 TB is awesome.
