Dsuvia (30mcg sufentanil tablet) nears FDA approval
« on: October 24, 2018, 11:03:03 PM »
Here's the article about it:

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/as-powerful-new-opioid-nears-fda-approval-critics-ask-if-us-is-stoking-its-drug-crisis-2018-10-20

Anybody ever had sufentanil? Apparently, it'll work for folks taking bupe 'cause it's the only opioid strong enough to break thru the bupe soaked receptors. The article says it's a tablet that comes in a plastic applicator to put under your tongue so it sounds like it's not abuse proof or won't gel up in water like MScontin or Opana. Can't wait to get my hands on a few of these. That's if I ever run across them. I've only ran across fentora's once in my life. Well, one guy that had them and I was getting a great deal on them. I was trading 4-5 2mg kpins (that I paid a little less than $0.50 each for) for each 400mcg fentora.

My tolerance at the time was 10-20mg's of hydrocodone would have me feeling good so I remember putting half or whole fentora inside my cheek and gums for a few minutes then itching my ass off for an hour about 10 mins after putting it in my mouth. The best B/T pain med I've ever seen when used as directed and not IV'd. It would kill any pain within 15 minutes if you took your meds as scripted and didn't have a huge tolerance. Even if you have a decent sized tolerance, I'd imagine 2-3 400mcg fentora's would still get the job done. I've also only had a few Actiq's in my life (1600mcg ones) so I hope these Dsuvia's actually make their way onto the streets or at least into my mouth or veins at some point in the next few years.

Hey Bignasty,
Just saw your post about Fentora. I had a script for a box of 200mics twice in 2007. I had gotten an arthroscopic surgery on my left shoulder. My insurance paid for it at the time. 9 years later in 2016 I got a shoulder replacement and my pain doc gave me a script for it again but I couldn’t fill it because they said that it could only be used by cancer sufferers. I had to settle for patches.
The 200 mcg Fentoras were great. They ate right through my pain within minutes and lasted about 4 hours

Did you get the boxes with the sheets of 4 fentora's on each sheet? Oh how I miss opening up those boxes and then peeling open the sheets and popping out a 400mcg fentora. Truly the best "pain med" I've ever had when it comes to killing pain and not including euphoria and such.

That sucks to hear they're only for cancer patients now. Most people have never even heard of them, much less seen one or tried one. I used to be able to get the Actiq 1600s from a MX online pharmacy but they got busted and never opened up another website like they did every other time they got busted. The Actiqs were $80 each so that's why I've only had them a few times. I'd rather have a 1600mcg Actiq than a 80mg OG OC if they were both going for $80 though.
