This mod will display the avatar of last poster in Board(Child)Index and or the avatar of first and or last poster of topics in MessageIndex.

Extra setting: Display topic starter time in MessageIndex.

now installed in dev. with manual intervention so i logged a report at http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=544924.msg3879890#msg3879890

now installed live ... what a cool mod - check out the new look of the boards in "forum".

modify settings via: Admin > Configuration > Modification Settings > Avatars on Board/MessageIndex

mod removed due to system instability.

Password Protect Boards removed first and reinstalled after this was removed.
