Title: constipation, hemorrhoids
Post by: The Ryan on October 11, 2015, 01:30:27 PM
So I'll make this short.

Haven't shit in like a week maybe a day or two more.

Still smoking speed daily. Still using benzos and bupe. No other drugs except nicotine (very little, like 2-5 cigarettes a day).

Still eating daily. 2-3x, plus ensure for the past couple days. Maybe not the best food, lots of milkshakes, fast food burgers, and fries are probably 90% of my diet.

Yesterday I felt the need to shit and got on the toilet, which prompted the most pushing, pushing, pushing I've ever done to try an get a shit out of my ass, and this is me, someone who has taken some opiate or another for like a decade now, every single day. Anyway, I got a hemorrhoid, I'm almost sure, my ass has hurt all day today. I am very afraid to take this shit, especially now that my asshole feels like, I don't even know, it fucking hurts, and is inflamed, and fucking hurts, fuck!

Took 4 (400mgx4)doses of milk of magnesia last night, nothing happened.

Took 6 more doses an hour ago after getting off work, can feel stuff moving around but still haven't pooped, so I just took 4 more doses, I gotta be up early for work (another double) so need to take this shit and fast. Kinda wanna just drink half this fucking bottle lol.

Gonna take 6 more doses and hope for the best, I think this will be my last attempt for the night. It's gonna hurt so bad coming out when it comes.

Just please God don't let me shit out my mouth like Jacky did.

Next time this happens, I recommend you go straight to an enema - either "Fleet" (made in beautiful Lynchburg, VA) or some generic knock-off thereof. It's sodium phosphate solution, I believe.

Once you get over the demeaning way you have to administer it (the directions on the box say you must get down on your hands and knees and stick it up your ass, then squeeze the bottle, then wait at least 2 minutes - the longest two minutes you'll ever wait), then sit on the toilet, et voilá! - You have a shit. Such a relief the way it all comes out at once then.

Back when I was eating 20-40 Norco 10/325's a day or using 3lbs of FTL Spanish back when they were good, I'd resort to this method about once a month.

as someone who has posted numerous threads on the subject of bowel movements
shit and its various consistencies, most effective ways to dig it out yer ass
i think i can help

right away the first thing that jumps out is the diet
its good to be eating fairly regularly, and supplementing with ensure
but fast (garbage) food is not going to be all that good for you

i would recommend buying fresh fruit
nothing is more refreshing while being super geeked than watermelon, canteloupe
and of course the REAL money melon, Honeydew
bananas are good for digestive problems too, and contain a decent amount of magnesium

on that note, you are taking WAY too much milk of magnesia
WAY. TOO. MUCH.
if two or three doses isnt working, 6 or 12 isnt going to make much difference
your bowels can become impacted and lead to horrifying problems
which may be at least partially related to your current health issues

*Extended periods of constipation can lead to sepsis*

The point you are at now, you need an enema
even though you pooped before, you need to do it anyways
you are probably still incredibly backed up

im sorry to hear that you are suffering so much lately ryan
you have always had compassionate, insightful words for me
and i hope that you find what you need, and soon

One of the many health problems associated with constipation, in addition to 'Roids,

is that you're keeping toxins in your body a lot longer than intended.  Your body has only 4 methods for getting rid of toxins: Peeing, Pooping, Exhaling and I guess sweating.

The longer those toxins stay in, the more potential damage they could be causing you.  As far as constipation is concerned, probably an increase chance of diverticulosis, polyps and cancer.

Additionally, if you're still eating (input) regularly, your gut is going to be stretched in both circumference and length, which must weaken it over time.

Buy some mineral oil and drink a teaspoon or tablespoon every night, and also in the morning.  If your constipation is due to opiates, the oil will keep things moving along ALMOST as if you weren't on opiates (it by-passes the dryness that opiates produce in the colon).

I was going to suggest an enema too.  So ditto on that.

Morphy's mineral oil is a good idea too.

I believe Duckfeet made a post a long time ago, when he was constipated, about how he found relief from a coffee enema.  That seemed to help him, for a while at least.  I think he said it became less effective over time.

A few other things you could try is Colace.  Another is Senokot.  Colace is a highly recommended stool softener.  And Senokot (regular) contains senna, a natural vegetable-based laxative.  Senokot-S contains senna and a stool softener.

I've used both before, and they're quite effective.  The only drawback to Senokot is the price.  It's pricey IMO.  There are generic versions though.  Kroger, for instance, has a generic.  It's still more expensive than Colace though.

I wouldn't use a stimulant laxative.

You could also go the prescription route.  There's a new medication specifically for constipation caused by opiate pain medication.  It's called Movantik (naloxegol).  It's probably expensive though, and there is a risk for it to cause precipitated w/d, especially when taken in higher amounts, or if you're taking certain medications.  CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., clarithromycin, ketoconazole) will interact with it and cause precipitated w/d.

You could also use Metamucil or Fibercon to help with bulk.

Good luck, and I hope you feel better soon.

I always advise users to eat Fiber One bars daily, also, a half dose of Miralax each and every night is a must. Currently, due to my diet, I am taking a magnesium/calcium/zinc supplement...those things combined keep me regular...I have movements every day like a normie. The last time I skipped any part of my "program" I didn't have a poop for 48 hours and it was so traumatic I remembered why I always take those things each and every evening before bed.

In addition to the constipation caused by opiate use, I have Crohn's disease.  It is really vital for me to keep things moving, and I've devoted a lot of time and personal research to the subject.  Here's what works for me:

-- Glass of prune juice mixed with Miralax in the AM
-- 6 or 7 Senekot tabs in the PM
-- a diet with some fiber in it, veggies, fruits, etc.  Drink lotsa water.  Eat a banana, or some broccoli, or something with some bulk to it.  Add in some yogurt and kefir to rebalance the bacteria in your gut.    Don't try to live on binding shit like cheese and crackers and booze.

I've been hospitalized before from getting "stuck" and believe me, lying in the ER with an enema tube up my butt is not a place I plan to return to.  The above will work; be patient if you've been stuck for a while but keep at it; and when you get unstuck, keep doing the prince juice/miralax/high fiber protocol.  It will work.

I am a little old lady and an expert on this subject; trust me!  And happy crappin'.

I use generic COLACE DAILY

It is a LIFESAVER

When I was a CPP noob in the late 90's, the best advice I ever received from a PILL MILL doc was to use a stool softener daily

To this day I still take the colace every night b4 bed with all my other prescribed meds

Oh yeah, i forgot.

A FLEET ENEMA every morning keeps everything flowing too

Good Luck!

If you are in a "bind" (pun intended!) magnesium citrate soda works like a charm.  It is used for constipation and for preps for colonoscopies and abdominal surgeries.

The best thing about this stuff is it is carbonated and comes in flavors, so it is very palateable, it costs about a dollar a bottle(and one bottle usually does the trick, and it doesn"t cause cramping like laxatives do.

Seriously, drink it down and in 1/2 to 4 hours your poop will all come out leaving you with a slick colon and RELIEF!!

Oh our life
When you can crap it's usually water.
And when you can't it's bricks.

My doctor use to give me these resistor(sp?) it was a two shot box that you could take home and when you have your self a shot you were craping.
Like a narcan that wouldn't break the blood brain barrier.

It's was just for opiates constipation. They worked great
Don't see that doctor anymore.

Yeah, while I shit somewhat normally - it's not as normal as it was when I wasn't using and I've definitely got a hemorrhoid or two now from it.  It was scary the first time I saw blood in the toilet, but I think they're pretty small hemorrhoids or something because they don't hurt really at all.

That stuff usually does work wonders, but for some serious opiate-caused fecal impactation, you gotta go to the other end, via an enema. I've drank a bottle of mag citrate before and just got a severe bloated feeling, like it wanted to come out but it still couldn't. So it doesn't always work. An enema is the best way to relieve some real bad opiate-induced constipation.

But every day?

That's gotta fuck up your colon somehow or some way.

After YEARS of problems from GI bleeds, C. diff etc messing up my bowels, i found aloe vera capsules. Way less harsh than senna or mag citrate etc. if after 2 of them, & still no success, Zoops is sadly fight--time for a Fleets enema, but its rare thank heaven. But they work wonders. I found mine OTC at a compounding pharmacy.

I wanted to shit today
Because I have been feeling toxic
Haven't shit in a week
I usually have to force myself to get sick.

I made my mind up last night
This morning when I was waiting on my script to be filled. I had given up. Right before they were done. I went into the bathroom and gave birth to a small child.

I get why some mothers think there kid owes them everything.
If I had to have something that size come out of my crotch.
I don't know the way I would feel about it.

I definitely wanted to name mine
