Thought of @chipper when I saw this on reddit.
Starting in 2017, it looks like epilepsy patients in Victoria will be the only ones benefiting from it, but it's a start. Hopefully it will catch on like the states and elsewhere and gradually get more accepted.
Good news none the less.

well thank you for the good news.
i can only live in hope that this opens the door to legal recreational Marijuana but i can't see it any time soon, truth be told.
from what i have heard, the drug will be processed to remove any euphoria from it prior to sale.
... but the thought of the government growing pot is a welcome departure from the bad old days.
however, it's a step in the right direction and is of course, most newsworthy.
