Title: Anybody Else Affected By Hurricane Harvey?
Post by: Fentfiend420 on August 26, 2017, 11:04:46 AM
I've lived on the TX coast or close to, all my life. So im used to hurricanes and what have you. Im just glad i dont have a habit right now! Im prepared though. Got water food fuel you name it. Got a fat sack of good bud and some beer as well. It just hit i believe. As a cat 4 in Corpus and will make its way to houston by Wednesday. Some places are supposed to get up to 4 feet of rain! The coastal bend should catch most the wind. If you havent heard of it look it up. Its a big deal so its probably on the news across the nation.

But is anyone else affected on the forum? If so are you prepared? Any good stories floating around... Anyways! Anybody in the way of this storm please be safe and be prepared if possible.

We are getting rain in Florida from it but nothing major. Watch out for flooding in Houston. When i used to live there that was an issue in any storm so I'm assuming even if there's not 4ft of rain itll still be an issue. Good luck to everyone, hope no one has to be sick long cause of the storm. What's the deal with methadone clinics in such a situation? Do they do anything differently if its a bad enough storm that you have to evacuate?

Yea some areas in houston have vehicles under water already. My place is good. Just an overflowing pool and my complexes exit and entrance were flooded dismorning. But there is more rain to come. Lots more!

I believe if the done clinic will be closed or if there is a mandatory evacuation, they give you take homes to cover for it. But i have never been on done so thats just a guess.
