Title: Problems with new doctor and my insurance
Post by: sk8phaze on March 18, 2017, 06:03:49 PM
Hello everyone! Long time since ive postes here.

My old doc lost hus license and i have a new doc who just as chill, except he JUST took his suboxone 8 course so he can Rx it.
       But the problem is:
A.)Now that he submitted the documents to the DEA he cant write scripts til he gets the prescription pad that had suboxone dea # on it.
So luckey ive been chipping so much that i have enough subs to get me to next month.
My problem is that i got this doc to write me 90 diazepam 10mg's, and double my gabapentin  from 90 (300mg's) to 90 (600mg's).

Normally i get all my meds from cvs for free cause i have good insurance, but this new doctor applied for medi-cal and submitted the paperwork to the gov'ment, how long should it take to apply. Ive called the pharmacy and the doctor and gotten stonewalled. Now that i remembered why i wrote this. How much can i save on my $35.99 Rx on gabapentin with a coupon from online ? Could i get it for 50% off.

not sure what to suggest except googling "prescription discounts" or similar.  before i had medicare my psych always went online & did something to find me the best discount he could.  i think a "Good RX" discount card is what i used most, you can get it free online but there are others and i think they vary on discounts depending on the particular med and the particular (chain) pharmacy.  go look!
