How do I change the time zone on my account?
« on: October 03, 2015, 08:53:31 AM »
Does anyone know how/where to change the time zone on my account?  I'm in the US Central Time and I can't find anywhere to fix it so my posts have the right time stamp.

Also - when sending a message how do you save a sent message in your outbox?  I have the box checked to do that but can't find an outbox??

(not sure messages are even working for me ...  I sent two "test" messages to people that are/were online and they didn't answer... maybe I'm blocked for being too old or something.. ha.)

next time you send mail then tick the box below the editor to save sent messages.

time zone: Profile > Look and Feel > enter offset from Sydney time.

Lose something every day. Accept the fluster
of lost door keys, the hour badly spent.
The art of losing isn't hard to master.
Then practice losing farther, losing faster:
places, and names, and where it was you meant
to travel. None of these will bring disaster.

Thanks - got the message (was interrupted for a bit so couldn't reply right away...)  I still don't see the outbox but I'll find it (I am ticking off the little box to save sent msgs. there)

Off to figure out the time thing, thanks.

It took me a while to find it as well.  If you hover over the "Messages" header that's right above your list of sent messages, it will pop up a drop down menu that lets you select "Sent Items" which is your outbox.

This should be a direct link to it: http://forum.drugs-and-users.org/index.php?action=pm;f=sent

I'm glad you learned how to offset the time zone, the way to save outgoing PMs, and where the sent PMs option is.

If you've got any more questions, I / we are always here to help.  Feel free to ask questions.   :)
