How to insufflate (sniff, snort) properly

Snorting or IN (Intranasal) (and boofing) is my least favourite ROA but nevertheless, here are some tips.

Some substances (like those with nasty cuts or that are misrepresentated) can cause significant irritation to the nasal passages so it's wise to do a "tester" *small* dose first. I learned this the hard way and only recently.

You want a product that is fine and both powdery and of an even consistency.

Draw in the minimum amount of air that will get the powder up a clean, hygienic straw and no more.

Having it end up dripping down the back of your throat is usually going to leave a lingering bad taste in your mouth and is like an oral dose instead - this means lower bioavailability.

And then immediately pinch your nose and keep it pinched until you’re getting high or as long as practicable as it will happen faster. Think of like pouring some salt on a wet paper towel, versus pouring salt on a table and pressing a wet paper towel down on top of it.

It’ll also absorb faster, and you’re wasting less.

Using a misting a sterile saline (moisturises and lubricates) nasal spray after putting the drug in solution using volumetric dosing may even be a better method.
