WOODBURY - A powerful drug used to help combat heroin overdoses will soon be available at drug stores across New York without a prescription.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo (NY) is allowing independent pharmacies to provide Narcan, a medicine that reverses opioid overdoses.
Prices for a dose and kit will range between $26 -$40, depending on which form of Naloxone patients request. It is already available in CVS, Walgreens and Duane Reade.
Just saw this article on my daily rounds of internet procrastination.
Now all we need is legalized marijuana in NY and we can call it a day :)

That's great as narcan should be at least as available as dope is. I know narcan is harder to find.
