Title: man texts detective on accident when trying to sell opana
Post by: clinton on November 08, 2015, 12:18:38 PM

http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/local/story/2015/oct/13/wrong-number-drug-dealer-arrested-after-accidentally-texting-bradley-county-detective/330312/

A wrong number will result in jail time for alleged drug dealer Christopher Andrew Brewer, 27, who police say accidentally texted a Bradley County detective's county-issued cell phone with an offer of drugs for sale.

"R 30s and Opana 40s today," the message from Brewer said. Opana is a addictive prescription drug, classified by police as a schedule II narcotic. R 30s may refer to Adderall, according to the Drugs.com database.

Playing along, the detective asked for a location where the two could meet and "complete the transaction," according to a news release. For good measure, the detective also asked for a vehicle description. Brewer obliged, and offered to meet the detective near 25th Street, police say.

Police found Brewer at the quested location, and in the same vehicle mentioned in the text conversation, according to the release. He was arrested and charged with solicitation for the sale and delivery of a schedule II narcotic.

Detectives say they later learned that Brewer meant to send the original text message to a unidentified female.

That's what he meant by r30s. Why else would he mention "opana 40s"

Edit, just saw the Adderall post. He does not mean Adderall who the hell got that info?

Once upon a time I had a script for Oxy 30, and a contact that would unload em' for me.

Our operation (I guess you'd call it) ran like clockwork. We knew where to meet, how much and time to meet up.

Somehow, she got in a traffic stop along the way, and the cop was going thru her phone. He happens upon our messaging.

Suddenly I'm getting messages about where do you wanna meet up, what is it... How much???

Oink Oink Oink...

Tossed that phone out and stayed the FUCK away from that bitch awhile.

This shit must be pretty common in our technological age, and with cops that don't abide by their limitations.

I've texted the wrong number asking to buy heroin before, except I didn't say I was trying to buy heroin, only that I wondered if they could to 2 g's for $300 (this was about May or June this year), I got a text back saying "I have no idea what your talking about, sry."

I checked the number and it was the wrong one by one digit.

Close call, I guess?

But what would the cops do if someone contacted them by mistake trying to BUY drugs?

That is SHIT luck that he text a fucking cop... that seems like the absolute worst luck on the planet.  I wonder if the girl hit him first (I don't think they mentioned who texted who first and if they did that seems off) from a cops phone because she got caught with drugs and she flipped on her dealer.  She could have text him and said "what's good today? This is Jackie I got a new number" from the cops phone.  It seems like almost fucking impossible luck to have just randomly text a cop... and I think if I was texting someone that I didn't have in my phone I would have at least coded the available product a little better.  I would have coded the text better even if it was someone I trusted.  "Hey Jackie I have tickets to the game they're section O seat 40.... I mean fuck.

I'm not saying that story is BS but they make it sound like it a little bit.

The worst of it for me was the time I accidentally text my mom instead of my buddy who's last name was Morton.  I had convinced my mom at the time that I was no longer selling and I wasn't using either-- "Mom I am only using 1/2 of what the doctor has been giving me and its only because I am in severe pain."  Of course I sent her a text that said yea man I can sell you 10 thirties for $320 but you gotta come to me cause they cost me $27 each."  This was a friend of mine so I told him I'd only make $50 each time because I'm risking a felony for his ass.

And I mean there was absolutely no way to talk my way out of that one........ not even close..... LOL...

yeah, that was a close call however i deem it incriminating yourself by discussing "the deal" ... as in the right context, so you were extra lucky.
