ROCK HILL, S.C. — A South Carolina woman who thought she was unboxing the yoga mat she had ordered from Walmart found something much more nefarious — $400,000 in oxycodone pills, according to WSOC.
The woman, who did not want to be identified, quickly called police and reported the illegal shipment.
Police estimate the bag inside a cardboard box contained roughly 20,000 pills — so many, the woman said, they were spilling from the package.
Police said it appears the dealers tried to send the package from Newport Beach, California, to the woman’s old address in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Her old condominium is currently vacant.
Marvin Brown, commander of the York County Multijurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit, told the Rock Hill Herald that criminals will often ship drugs to empty homes or addresses where they know the occupants will be away during the delivery.
The dealers then track the package and wait in front of the house for the delivery truck to arrive.
In the Rock Hill case, the scheme might have been successful if not for a misspelled street name, which prompted the post office to look up the woman’s address and forward it to her new residence, according to the station.
Police seized the pills, which they believe are counterfeit oxycodone from Mexico. Investigators are working to figure out who sent them and who was supposed to pick them up.

@chipper YUP they are pretty much all fake fent pressed oxys in the US now. I even see fake Hydrocodone pills now. I never thought id see those getting faked. But as it stands there are not very many legit scripts around anymore. They used to over prescribed opiates, they were available cheap and in bulk from many sources.Not at all the case now. They followed the same trend with the benzos, now everyone is getting cut off. Used to cost 50 cents to buy a xan bar. Now xanax bars go for $7 a pill. damn near 4$ a MG, and mostly in limited supply. Now there are fake pressed xanax everywhere. Id say 90% of the xanax bars around the US right now are fakes.
Gabapentin is one i did not expect anything recreational. But that drug brought me to a place higher than H in many ways. On the flip side, it Also took me to worse places than H in some ways lol...These are the next target drugs to control. Gabaergics will be tightly controlled like opiates soon. Stock pile um upppp. I cant even get somas anymore.

ooooooohhhh pregabalin is like the newer version of gabapentin. You can get wrecked on just a few pills. THats the downside to gabapentin. Ill be taking 10-20 pills at oncE....every 15 mins haha..I GET SOME LOOKS OF HORROR/AMAZEMENT in public settings doing that. junkie status : DONT GIVE A FUCK.
