Title: Women and HIV: Unique Needs and Challenges

Women with HIV face many unique challenges, but most are treated the same as men.
From pregnancy to infertility, women with HIV are often overlooked by the healthcare community and
this needs to change.

While treatment continues to evolve, there are many barriers women face when they are HIV+.

If you have not been tested for HIV, maybe it is time to consider being tested.
Unprotected heterosexual sex is the most common cause for transmission in women.
