Dear Friend,
Today is International Drug Policy Reform Day, a day of online action aimed at amplifying the call for meaningful drug policy reform around the world.
Right now, organizations and individuals from across the globe are attending the Commission on Narcotic Drugs meeting (CND) in Vienna, fighting hard to make the volume on the call for reform louder than the voice of the nations trying to block it.
CND is the last major gathering before UNGASS — making it even more critical that we help amplify the voices of those fighting in Vienna and let the United Nations, its member states, and the world know that people everywhere demand drug policy reform.
That's why we've created a series of images of international leaders — including UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and US President Barack Obama — highlighting their critiques of the global drug policy regime. Will you share them on Facebook and Twitter?
