I do feel like its jerking people around a bit; maybe after a week of bouncing around, it should send a message telling the person to retire his/her account.

This is an example of a DoS attack, "denial of service."

If you understand TCP/HTTP, it's not hard to spot signatures that give this software (the "plugin") away -- someone at some point enabled this same thing on me on ophile and I could tell what was happening pretty quickly, the one on ophile wasn't designed to advertise itself at all, it easily allowed for deniability on the admins' part. (I still think you're a P053|2 jonny ;) ).

Seems a bit underhanded.  Irritating someone into leaving?  Really?  I bet it would have the opposite effect.

Posting about it here kind of makes it pointless too, no?

How would you use it?  Under what circumstances?
