Title: No Withdrawals?
Post by: GOOPYBREATH on April 15, 2016, 02:20:16 PM
So, I've been chipping on and off for a few years with pretty much any opiate I came across (mainly fentanyl, oxy, and H), but about halfway through 2013 I found a reliable connect for bulk fentanyl analogues (butyr and acetyl) at ridiculously low prices. Needless to say, I went all in. Fast forward to January 2015. It was time to get off the stuff. It sucked. I didn't sleep for what felt like weeks, I was sore, lethargic and passionless. I didn't get physically I'll, save for the soreness and one pants-crapping incident, but emotionally I was a wreck. Since mid-January I have been off of the stuff, except for the occasional fentanyl patch.

Now, here we are. I have been sniffing dope pretty steadily for the last two months or so (anywhere from 2 bags a day to 6, depending on my finances) and have decided that it is time for a break. My last bit was Tuesday afternoon, I maybe did a bag and a half. It is now 48 hours since I last ingested any opiates of any kind and I feel fine. Actually, I feel dandy. Is this normal? Am I going to wake up tomorrow and feel like death warmed over? I know there is really no straightforward answer to this question, I'm just surprised with how good I feel.

Like you said, there is no straight forward answer. Everyones body is different, including how it handles a substance. It could have to do with a number of factors. First thing that comes to my mind is it may have something to do with your usage/tolerance/roa right now. The quality of dope varies so much that your current habit could be a very small one.
Considering you had a bit of clean time, your tolerance could have lowered significantly. Since it took you far less to get up, the quality of the dope could also be very very low. Coupled with your ROA of just sniffing it, the amount of opiates making it to your system could be very low. Which would explain the lack of serious, or any wd whatsover.

But again, everyone is different. The amount of time it takes for you to get sick may be significantly different than the next person who has the same habit.  48 hours is a bit on the longer side, but lets see how you feel tomorrow. As i always say, there is no free lunch. But thats not to say that there isnt a reduced priced one. (not that this has to do with actual lunch, Growing up in a pretty poor household i had free lunch through my entire school life  8) )
best of luck, i too am right in the midst of kicking my bupe

Sometimes wd is no where near as severe as we were expecting- don't question it,be thankful.

Might take another day so dont celebrate just yet, but it sounds like you are good.

I remember there being an old thread about how a lot of us have had what seems like 'one free pass', when the wd is very mild or even nonexistent for some reason.

I can distinctly recall an early case of wd that came on with a bad headache, something I havent experienced since, and went away after about an hour. All symptoms except cold feet gone. Stay vigilant, but you never know. It happens. Be thankful indeed.

I remember that free pass thread as well, happened to me once.  I don't recall the specifics of my habit at that time, but I know I should have been sick as hell & it just just never came.  Hopefully you are getting a free pass as well :)  Let us know what happens.

At any point you could just explode like an IED, never to be heard from again.

Didn't touch any opiates for a week and felt fine. It's nice (and also VERY annoying) to have a source that isn't the most dependable person who is on a totally different schedule than me. If I can't get it from him, I have no idea where else to score, so I just have to deal.
