Well for all us folks here in Florida our asshole Governor is about to sign a new bill already passed by the house and senate. All opioid prescriptions will by prescribed for 3 days only, 7 days for extreme conditions. Government. Scott thinks this will stop all the overdoses and opioid deaths in this state.
It really screws me who is a chronic pain patient on a fixed income to drive every 72 hours to get a new script and add the pharmacy wait..
The heroin sales are gonna fly high. What is going on in this state. 71% of this state voted for MMJ and the powers to be said no flower... Only stems and seeds! What a fucking joke.
Looks like I'll get my MMJ how I've gotten it for the last 45 years.
Sorry for the rant just an FYI for Florida folks....

The three-day limit is for acute injury. Seven days is for surgery patients. This bill has provisions for chronic pain patients and end of life care. If you are a legit pain patient being treated by a pain management specialist, the new law will not effect you.
