of course you would ! :)

no, these are the four basic musical components of digital dance music, like BASS and SYTH etc. allowing DJ's to remix at a lower level.

i think it's amazingly powerful stuff.

@chipper do you do production as well as DJ? I'm not quite as heavy into it (production; i've always wanted to learn. I had a roommate when I lived in the DC area who tried to charge me an hourly fee to show me the ropes. I told him to get bent) as I used to be (mainly because I don't have a computer ATM), but I have a Roland MV8800 as my main station along with a few other toys. It's been hard no to blow my tax return on a computer, a guitar, a new bass, and a turntable (or two).

I am not a DJ but produce my own mashups etc.

strictly for my own entertainment because I love learning to use the hardware and software.

a couple of DJs have asked for a couple of my tracks but that's all.

buying musical equipment is always rewarding so I get that.

my background is in IT but I still get out to clubs and support my local DJs ... I'm a bit fussy but when I'm impressed I get out on the dance floor - that's been the main passion of mine.
