his liver is under duress.

he tells us that he's getting help from a Hepatologist.

I really miss his warm presence too but fully expect him back and posting in good health.

That's what I was afraid of.  I'm glad he's seeing a specialist though.

Hep C? Is it curable, or is there any permanent damage? I hope his doctors and nurses and even the janitor do their jobs with wisdom, compassion and ability.

What is his avatar on the phile? I think it was the fire ball thing?

not HepC ... Nick damaged his liver whilst in his drinking days (cirrhosis) and is not well at all.

he is seeing a liver specialist on Monday so we're all hoping that it's repairable.

not having Nick around much isn't a nice thing but he's a feisty one so we are wishing him the best.

i'm trying to find out where he's at ... i really hope that the professional consultation that he was to attend, was good news.

I know he's sick, and I'm very sorry for that.  I hope he gets better soon.

That being said, I do really wish he'd post at least one "hey, what's up" message.  I think his presence would greatly enhance this new venture.

He is such a great guy and an advocate for all people in need...The best!
