Taking certain medications together with antacids can increase the absorption of meth/amphetamine and may increase its effects.

This may or not be a good thing so more rsearch and care is required.

In some cases you could unintentionally overdose or other drug <-> food combinations may minimise their efficacy.

Intro:

Little backstory on me; Been using for about 3 years now, tolerance is pretty decent, I've(26M) tried Snorting(Main ROA) smoking, oral, boofing, basically everything but IV. Recently been reading into the whole Alka Seltzer thing to increase your high and want to try it.

Was wondering if there was any tips/warnings/advice I could get from those that have experienced this. Also does it only work for Oral ROA?

Alright seeing as how this ROA can potentially lead to OD, I think it’s necessary to create a guide to prevent harm. I’ve searched up and down this sub and never found an actual procedure indicating dosage, user history, amount of Alka Seltzer, etc. I prefer to know these details when I can potentially fuck it up and OD.

I have been a daily user of approximately .5g - 1g smoked for 2-3 months. Healthy male approximately 210lbs. 1g would represent a heavy use day, which doesn’t happen often and was always spread over a 12-24 hour time period.

I started with an empty stomach ~ 2 hrs after waking up having ingested only a few ounces of Red Bull. I also smoked .02g about 1 hour prior.

This will be my first time with the Alka Seltzer oral ROA. I took 1 tab of Alka Seltzer crushed & dissolved in 1 cup of water. I drank this and waited 10 minutes to allow time for stomach acid neutralization, at which point I used .2g fully dissolved in another cup of water.

It has now been 20 minutes, should be feel full impact soon. Will update as necessary.

TL:DR - Alka Seltzer Bomb harm reduction - my experience.

It should also be noted that I have been prescribed Wellbutrin as well as pramipexole, both low dosage. I have not taken them today.

Updates: 12:55 - start time 1:23 - slight rush characterized by a pleasant tingling sensation. Also experiencing jitters/shakey hands and slightly flushed feeing. Flushed feeling is new but shakey hands is typical.

1:25 - felt slightly lightheaded upon standing from seated position. Typical - not a new thing, also experienced while smoking.

1:55 - during moderate physical work (dishes/laundry/chores) experiencing sweaty (armpits) which is not typically experienced via smoking ROA. Jitters/shakey hands more prevalent now, comparable to heavy usage day of smoking. Nothing outside of a normal experience.

2:03 overall feeling pretty similar to a heavy usage day - could have potential to save lots of money. Unfortunately not experiencing any effect on libido or erection ☹️

2:20 Jitters/shaky hands is slightly elevated compared with normal experience of heavy usage (smoking). Having a difficult time staying on task - wanting to move from one task to another before completion. Also feeling moderate effects of dystonia but this is also typical of heavy usage day via smoking ROA.

2:55 - Taking a break from chores. Kept stomach empty until now to promote maximum absorption. Beginning to hydrate & currently eating a banana. Feeling ok, at this point I’d say I prefer this ROA over smoking. Overall I’d give it a score of 7/10. I’d probably back dosage to .1 if I needed to go to work. Might bump to .3 if I wanted to really push it and see if I could experience boner/precum/orgasmic effect.
