Title: Numbness after snorting H?

I picked up a gram of what I was told was heroin today but I'm not totally sure what's going on.  The stuff I got was white and kind of sparkly so I thought I got fucked and got coke instead.  So I first rubbed a bit on my gums to see if it caused any numbness.  It didn't.  Then I snorted a line and after about five minutes, my nasal cavity and roof of my mouth felt numb.  So at this point I'm waiting to feel the effect of coke but it didn't happen.  Now it's been about an hour and I feel sort of warm and relaxed like I do with heroin but nothing like I've felt with my previous usage.  Could it have been heroin cut with some coke or is there a numbing agent that's sometimes used in cutting?  Sorry if this sounds dumb.  The only heroin I've had previously was always brown and just hit like a ton of bricks.  Just curious if anyone has any thoughts? 

Also sorry if this is the wrong area to put this, I wasn't sure  :P

I always get numb teeth and stuff when snorting dope..

God only knows what that stuff was. Whoever sold it to you may not have known either.

But if it was heroin or any kind of junk you'd know because you'd be high. This is key.

As you know, you don't have to try to feel dope if you take some. It "hits like a ton of brick" as you said, if you do it right and the stuff is real.

a wild shot in the dark but it may be cut methadone powder ... see if it holds you.

I knew about some guys in NZ that broke into a manfacturing plant and stole some.

highly unlikely but MD is a mild local anesthetic.
