since i lost my poker blog on the phile ill start one here if anyone cares to read it. I hadnt cashed at my sunday holdem tourny in 3.5 mnths but we had 36 entrants last night and i got to final 3 and we even chopped the purse for 430 each. i was so stoked it helped get the idea out of my head that i was playing badly.

You still playing online? I wouldn't mind playing but this laptop sucks ass. Seems like everyone is moving to PLO, I've thought about trying to pick it up but I like to use simulators to learn, and again, laptop..
Maybe new computer soon. I still have BTC balance, just not much I can do with it..

I dabbled in online poker myself back in tha day PS and FT. Pretty sure I was cheated tho. There's a famous picture of about 6 guys sitting at a table all playing on the same online table with separate laptops in a barns and noble in lv. Collusion is the term I believe. Just like draft kings if people can make money, people will cheat.

The first time I ever got shot up with dope was about 2 years ago after about a year of snorting roxy's and H. A girl I knew drew up 2 of Philly's finest stamps, tied off my bicept and delivered that magic dark substance into the crook of my arm. Obviously I was floored. It was beautiful. My best friend at the time picked me up shortly after and drove my bent out of my gore ass to the Casino that was on the way home. I don't really remember the game of hold em I participated in as I was in an unfamiliar world of bliss but I do know that I had me biggest damn smile on my face, the calmest and most confident I ever was as I cashed out with over 1000 bucks in chips and went home and fell into the deepest, warmest, longest slumber of my life. From then on it was a never ending ride of hell to try to get a piece of what I experienced that night.

Depends where you are in the action. Chances are you could force them to fold if you go all in and they are holding anything other than AA.

Poker all-together is fucking fascinating imo. The " theorys of poker" and stats along with psychology that you have to master make it a very amusing game honestly. People say they would rather be lucky than good but I say fuck that. Id rather be good any day.

We could set that up. I play online around 15-20 hours a week so poker is my part time job. I am getting ready for some runs at online tournaments. I've played live tourneys in casinos and prefer them to online, but winning online can get you free entries in those seats live.

There are enough holdem players here to get at least a 6max going, maybe even a 9max.
I'm down, but only after I get a better laptop, which should hopefully be within a couple weeks or so.

you know you can still play for actual cash in the us online right? Check out bovada.lv there's a lot of bots but they are beatable.

congrats man, I just won my fantasy football league for the first time in my life. Funny thing is it was on a auto-draft team as I couldn't make the draft. Excited for that chunk of change to come in. Your post is giving me the itch to play some Texas hold 'em. Enjoy that 700!

it was actually 1000$. I won 700 and during my previous weeks hospital stay and gallbladder surgery they did a fundraiser for me at pokerrroom and raised 360$.
