You know what's nice about this forum?
« on: November 01, 2015, 11:37:43 AM »
One of the many things that I like about this forum is the fact that no one shouts out the asshole term UTMFSE at people for asking questions.  Now I know that the forum is young and there are quite a few topics that haven't been covered, but there is an overall sense of respect for one another here and you don't see the fuck off attitude if you haven't been around for ever out of the members here.

Again like I said we are in our infancy here, but everyone seems to be cool right out of the gate instead of trying to make new members feel unwelcome or like they have to prove themselves to the cool kids first before they are taken seriously.  This is a good place we have here and I like the vibe the forum gives off.  Good job on everyone just being cool overall and not acting like assholes.

There was a music festival the I used to attend in Ohio that was held twice a year called Hookahville.  Some of you may know what I'm talking about if you're from the area.  Anyway the motto of the festival was "No hassles or bad attitudes" and I feel like that is a motto that we could adapt here even though we are already practicing that particular behaviour.

Congrats to all here that have participated in making this a hella cool place to chill and learn about being safe in you endeavors.  Let's keep up the good work and continue to make this the best HR site on the net!

I'll show you politics in America. Here it is, right here. "I think the puppet on the right shares my beliefs."
"I think the puppet on the left is more to my liking."
"Hey, wait a minute, there's one guy holding out both puppets!"
"Shut up! Go back to bed, America. Your government is in control."-BH

Lose something every day. Accept the fluster
of lost door keys, the hour badly spent.
The art of losing isn't hard to master.
Then practice losing farther, losing faster:
places, and names, and where it was you meant
to travel. None of these will bring disaster.

I think his name was Pantiespending.  He was a bit of a douche even if that isn't the same exact guy that you're talking about.  He always bragged about his Gucci and doing tons of fent.  I honestly felt bad for the guy because he was obviously attention starved so much that he needed to come to an online harm reduction forum to feed his ego and show off online where no one really gives a flying fuck.

We got into a bad cycle with that one:

1. Post thread.  Told to utmfse.
2. Utmfse.  Post in thread you found.  Told not to necro.
3. GOTO 1.

I was guilty of it for a bit, but after a while you realize we talk about everything over and over.  I would rather see content then see people complaining about content repeating and not posting anything.

Truth where was the invisible necro line vs utmfse. A lot of forums get like that tho over time. Lets not, atleast for a while.

Yeah totally agree. This forum has a different vibe to it than O-phile did. Nicer, and the layout colors are lighter too.

But just wait... I'm sure we'll get into some heated political discussions or some dumb shit eventually. Hope not, but people tend to suck, if you didn't already know.

Not y'all - but people - ya know?

What makes this place great ???

YOU GUYS

Now that the nice talk is over.
I good as long as I don't have to read threads about snorting Vicodin.
(My eyes will bleed )

If we let it get to the level of asholery that we did at opiophile.
We deserve it if we do.

People who let history repeat
Don't get it.

Honestly, I think it will devolve into cliques and squabbles over time.  Maybe not to the extent of Opiophile, but something will happen.  It's already started in a few instances IMO.

As others have stated, people generally suck.  It's in our nature.
