I stumbled across this documentary on youtube. It's pretty interesting. It's about some Chicago Dboys that move into a smaller city and start slinging there. They come on pretty hard, and end up with shootouts in the streets and an assasination in a mickey d's. The cops decide to do something after the mickey d's thing. 60 rounds fired on a residential street didn't bother them enough because it was a black neighbourhood I guess, but you don't shoot out a mcdonalds window or you're goinng down mofo.
The piggies took an abandoned building and filled it with audio/video surveillance gear, and then a ci "rented" it for the dboys. They moved in and turned it into a full time trap. It's pretty interesting, and for a change they don't make the kids out to be evil incarnate. There are interviews with their parents and family, and recordings of the guys talking to their kids now that they're in jail. There is some interesting socioeconomic commentary, and even though WE have heard it all before, not everyone else out there has. Definitely worth the watch if you have some spare time at some point.
