I've been drink 400ml of vodka a night.
I want to know if heavy drinkers have this problem. i used to be able to shoot liqour no problem. now i mix my vodka with cranberry juice. even with beer i have this problem.
i dont drink all day. i dont have any wd symptoms. but somtimes ill be buying my drink for the night and be shakking my ass off... only when im getting the alki.
thats unrelated. the point was i cant take alcohol somtimes. its only the first drink. most of the times its all good but occasionally i'll be drinking my first drink and get a weird gulp and throw it all up.
drinkers talk. there is no cure i know i just want to hear others experience.

It may be your body telling you to stop that alachol is a nasty drug.
I get that may be your only option.
Try if you want to drink pst.
There are really no bad side effects from.long term OPIATE use health wise that is. Social stigma another thing.
Alcohol on the other hand will kill you. There is almost no social stigma.
You can live a long life and be an out cast.
Our you can be a great guy and a short life with alcohol.

Yeah your best deal is gonna be with some opiates, namely PST.
But if you insist on drinking alcohol, then only do it like every other day, or at least wait till noon to have that first one. It's hard sometimes, I know. - Fellow drinker here. Just stole a Four Loko out of 7-11 this morning and then 2 X 24oz cans of 211 Steel Reserve about an hour ago from Safeway.
The loss prevention guy came running out but I gave him the slip. Won't be going back there tomorrow - that's for sure!
So, I feel your pain. The only reason I steal alcohol is because I'm totally and completely broke ATM. Got enough groceries from the food pantry but they don't give out beers, unfortunately. Even if they did, it wouldn't be enough!
Whenever I get money, I got for PST, instead of alcohol. Can't stand booze, really. But it gets the job done. Just don't want to feel, that's the long and short of it.
Oh, and yeah, if I take a shot of straight liquor, I'm gonna puke, no question. Used to be able to do it, but nowadays, not so much. I mean a little tiny sip won't make me gag but any regular-sized gulp will definitely make me puke straightaway.

Yeah, I've had bouts with heavy drinking. I still drink enough to easily be considered an alcoholic, but now that I'm doing heroin again that has kind of died down.
I have the EXACT same issue as you do though, with the throwing up. It gets better the more I drink, but if I go on a large binge - when it's all said and done, the stomach issues are even worse. I can't even drink hard alcohol, I stick to malt liquor - 211 / Steel Reserve is my go to.
I've always had issues with my stomach though and alcohol is a heavy irritant on the mucous lining of the stomach. I've done a little research on it when I was having worse symptoms and I'm pretty sure it's something called "gastritis". Which is basically just an inflammation of the stomach lining.
As for a "cure", I haven't found anything aside from not drinking so much and maybe trying to not drink on an empty stomach / make sure you eat enough decent food.

Hey brother, get yourself a benzo script. They act on pretty much the same receptors but wont fuck up your liver or other various body parts. Good luck brother.

I also forgot to mention I'm on felony probation and without saying to much I'm on my last leg. I don't have it too bad, I don't get bothered often even after a turnaround sooo. Facing 4 if I fuck up. But my PO is cool with alcohol. She's actually cool in general. Not with kratom though. They have tests for that now btw.(I had already fucked up big time, did my turnaround and rehab but thought I could get away with kratom...yea)
So I'm cooling right now. I HATE alcohol. I know opiates are so much better for you and really they work much better for my problems. Anxiety relief that feels more natural without getting sloppy ect. Or ruining every cell in your body.
I just got some phenibut I'm considering compensating with it so I can taper off(or down) alki easier....
I want to get a benzo script, but I want to try and get one for my social anxiety that I have diagnosed but it's hard. I'm hesitant to jump and say hey I need a Valium taper. Trying to keep that addict stigma off my record not sure if it really matters, I just don't wanna get hurt bad and they half ass the shit or somthing cuz some docs are asses like that.

How long have you been going with the 400ml/night habit? Fortunately that's not too heavy, as I drank 1+ liter/day of liquor for almost 2 years straight and didn't experience alcohol WD's upon stopping. However we all are different with that stuff, so that's not to say that your shakes aren't indicative of a need to cut back.
Keep an eye out for back pain level with the middle of your rib cage, as a swollen liver is always the first way of knowing it's time to hop off the train. Sorry you can't switch DOC's as you're being tested, but maybe you should check out some GABA-ergic shit like Lyrica or phenibut. Definitely not the same, but they're pretty good at giving cravings the boot.

I get that same problem - my current (hated) routine is 2-4 shots of whiskey & 6-8 strong beers. I like the whiskey shots at the beginning, within the first 2 beers & it's often hard to get the first couple down without them coming back up. If I dring a few beers first no problem. I think at least for me it's due to the cycle. If I do manage to take a day or two off the whiskey will go down fine. Don't have any solutions. I'm too scared of dealing with withdrawls at times to go the pst route. Don't think I can trust myself with a benzo script, just posted that in another thread but now thinking about it I have the world's most awesome psych that I'm 100% honest with and I think he knows this. (he just got approved, one of two clinics, to do experiments with MDMA on ptsd veterans, he's all for me doing Ayahuasca when I'm financially able to do a retreat.) I bet if I asked to try & see if I can be responsible he'd let me give it a shot. I'd never want the roller coaster of withdrawls each month if I wasn't & I'm pretty sure I'd drop the idea if I did start taking them more than prescribed, I have no access to other benzos so it'd be w/d's every month & I flat ain't gonna live that way.

don't think of it as alcohol but rather, as another GABA modifier that you're keen on. sometimes.
i enjoy drinking wine, some spirits and the odd beer now that MMT is behind me.

400mL isn't that bad of a habit. That's like a pint and a little change.
Regardless, I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling with alcohol. I about killed myself five months ago drinking, taking prescription pills, and naproxen(for a fractured foot). I went to a 30 day inpatient treatment center and dried myself out. I don't want to sound preachy but alcohol really is a cunning, powerful, and fatal disease.
I had been out of treatment for a few weeks and decided to get a pint.
BAD FUCKING IDEA!!!!
While I'm not drinking that much, I still drink every day. Some of that "controlled drinking". It doesn't work.
My liver hurts.
My hair has started to fall out. I am a sick mother fucker. As much as I love drugs, I wish I had never got started with the shit at such a young age. YES, drugs are good. But, and I say but, they will fuck you up.
Good luck to you brother. This isn't an easy path. It is something that I struggle with every fucking day. I hate being powerless.
Just remember, every single moment that you are sober is a fucking blessing. Alcoholism is a progressive fatal disease.

i was drinking about a liter a day and then just started buying consecutively smaller bottles and would save my half cup chug at one time versus steady drinking through the day is kinda how i did it. its hard as fuck to live like that, because you have to constantly stay drinking. 400ml isnt much and is around what im at about now. even though im not sober i can use it as a lesser evil and try have a plan out and try my bet to stick to it.
