Funny stuff.  If Canadians are good at anything it is laughing at ourselves.  This election is just surreal.  I might move to south america if Stephen harper wins again with less then 50% voter turnout.

Rick mercer is a version of Colbert, except on our national public broadcast station funded by taxes and stuff.

I think the Queen of England is the head of state for the Commonwealth of Australia too.

That was a very good synopsis.

Yes, QEII is Head Of State of the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland), Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Bermuda, Antigua, Belize, the Bahamas, Papua New Guinea, and a host of other Commonwealth Realms, Crown Dependencies, and Overseas Territories. 

It's all from the former British Empire.
