im into my 4th week without Meth.
I simply can't afford to lose sleep but I miss it so much and my using buddies.
still waiting for my energy to fully return but I'm glad I didn't use it every day for the last 5 years ... apart from the odd drink and some Phenibut, I'm on the straight and narrow.

it's now been at least 7 weeks without Meth.
the cravings are subsiding but I keep dreaming about using. I somehow managed to find it in my dreams. I can't remember dreaming about Heroin so this shit really got under my skin like no other drug ever did.
but the good news is that I can now feel pleasure from the little things in life.
I never really appreciated just how much the drug was affecting my general state of mind.
don't mess with Meth if you are not prepared for a lengthy recovery period ... I imagine that if you use it for too long and go too hard that I'd would take years to feel the normal and natural pleasures in life.
... having said that, it would still be hard to turn it down if offered but my busy working schedule keeps me away from temptation.
there is life after Meth.

I had a point and a half on my birthday and that was it.
I will never shelve it completely but it's just not part of my routine any more.
but worse still, now I'm gambling a bit ... addiction just seems to be something I can't escape.

Man Chipper
You don't know
How glad I am to hear that and how much
I deeply care for you
That is one evil ride
Staying up for a week at a time
Every car is a cop
Sitting by the window
With a gun in your hand
Shooting at things that are not even there
The last time I did meth
I ruined my car
When the ammonia canister
Valve blew when I was trying to steal it.
Now all they got around here is that s
Shake and bake crap.
No more phsudophedrin (?sp)
But im not cooking up 6 grams of that to get back a maybe 75 % return
Shit thats just a days worth.

this thread reminds me of how i seem to always come back to something that gets me excited.
I don't use much but i still do ... it sounds so hypocritical but earning money is a big trigger, you know ?
please forgive ...
