Dopamine’s Role in Unlearning Fearful Association

... and probably why Meth users undertake crazy schemes or do stuff without worrying about and thinking through the consequences ...

as a Meth user, the primary negative emotion upon cessation is FEAR.

another member on our site pointed this out.

i have experimented adding Modafinil to MA (Meth.) and it is perceptible and a bit weird.

my brain vice-swapped opiates for GABA, stims and alcohol < a heavy price to pay.

still, being fearless and chemically courageous has it's advantages but it's all about the application.

f00d for thought.

This is why certain fraternal organizations that I've been around banned the "the needle" almost continually.

Heroin/Opiates ? First time is a beating. Heroin/Opiates ? If there is a 2nd time and you're any account whatsoever it's getting a beating, they'll lock you to go cold turkey, have two guys watch you, support you, sometimes they'll hold you, kick you an immodium, mix you a pepsi with a little valium, something like that hypothetically. Heroin/Opiates ? Third time you get the boot litterally, you lose your membership, and you're out bad, so there is no chance to redeem yourself.

Crank is a different animal. Crank has caused so much fucking grief in 40 years that if you get a methhead around, you give them one chance and I'd say 90% of the time the sons of bitches blow the one chance and cause something goddamn catastrophic the whole clubs pay for.
