Surprisingly easy bupe transition from H
« on: April 30, 2017, 12:54:20 PM »
Hello all, I've missed talking to y'all and lurking.  I've been on a small run on H doing a half g of some good SoCal  tar (4months)
My H to suboxone transitions in the past have been  dreadfully slow and pain full.
But today is day 2 of a very comfortable transition,  probably from my medical marijuana and 90 (10mg diazepam).
Let's hope I make it to a week but my purpose of this post was how easy getting on subs have been.
I went from 2× daily sublingual. To 1mg IV  × daily  (cause 2mg Sub'l is 33% Bioavailability meaning 1.2) vs me IV'ing 1mg and having the same relief.  Very unsusal. Subs usually barely touch my WDs

Good luck!

Benzo's make such a big difference during w/d, so I am sure the valium is helping greatly.

When I hear about people shooting Suboxone, I literally cringe.  Don't get me wrong, I've definitely done it...but, is it really worth it?  I'm assuming that insurance is paying for it, so it's not like the prescription is breaking the bank.  Over my lifetime of IV use, I have injected some really foul shit.  Combine that with years of poking my arms, I've lost all of my go-to veins.  I guess I treat the ones I have left as precious.

Yeah shooting suboxone is not the best situation.  I just gotta make this one 8mg strip last hopefully less then 8 days. I should get my new suboxone Rx from the pharmacy free from insurance but if not then I'm screwed cuz I'm broke.
But the last few weeks of me being on a run on H was getting very stressful as I need to get  job or move from Cali by my self of to Michigan under lock and key of crazy parents. I feel good enough to work now that my withdrawal is bearable or at a minimum to where I can work.
    Wish me luck.

I hear you.  I hope I never have to go back to stressing 24/7 to support a serious habit.  That shit is no fun.  It blows my mind how insidious heroin addiction is.  Before I got "hooked" I always thought you'd do it once and be addicted almost as if a switch had been flipped.  In my experience, the addiction comes on gradually and that's what fucked me.  It's like that line from the Basketball Diaries.  "First it's a Saturday night thing.  You feel cool.  Like a gangster or a rock star.  Just something to kill the boredom, you know?  It feels so good, you start doing it on Tuesdays.  Then Thursdays...Then it's got you."

I love how he describes feeling like a gangster or a rock star.  For me, I didn't feel like either of those things, but I definitely felt like I was part of some secret society.  It was me and my upper-middle class white friends shooting heroin in our parents' houses and we felt like bad-asses.  For a while at least.

Seeing as how you've only got 8 mg's to last you over a week, I totally get the IV thing.  Again, good luck!

Me and DoD
Use to have this trick when she was prescribed that
We would
shoot dope for a week
Wait till we got sick
Do 8mg the first day
4 the next
2 the next then 1 for a day or two
Then back to the merry go round.
For one more ride.
It gets harder and harder
Each time.
Then we just said fuck it.
Lets just distroy each other
Im glad she got away from this sick
Fuck of a man I am.

Scared to death
No reason why
Do one another
To get me by
Think about the things I said
Read the page it's cold and dead
