I have a lot of absolutely vulgar things to say about the people who buy into trump but it isn't worth the effort. I won't change anyone's opinion. It sucks that we are having our country destroyed and all the progress we have made over the past fifty years.

DITTO.

Whenever someone brings up this topic to me all I say is "Not my government and Not my president."
All that stupidity isn't worth my time.

WHO EATS PIZZA WITH FUCKING FORK AND KNIFE

Don't forget the ketchup on his steak, and orders it well done.  FUCKING CHILD.

Anthony Bourdain had some choice words when he learned that little tidbit.

And DEMS lost this one due to Hillary being a turd of a candidate.  That's just my 2 cents.

guys, you're gonna hate me for this ... I hated and feared Trump but now I think that he could actually do some good. I'm warming up to him - he takes no shit and really seems to want to make America great again.

I know what it's like to be left behind by technology and out-sourcing so I feel him.

love him or hate him, I just find him so watchable ! no other president or political leader has elicited such a response from me.

he's always full of surprises.

maybe, just maybe, he will have a positive impact over time ?

nah, I'm just hopeful ... because 4 years is very long time in the current global political climate so I'm trying not to hate for all the rest of his term ... sometimes I am very much an optimist.

I thought that term was set in stone. How do you remove a president outside the 4 yearly elections ?

In Aus, the party itself can elect a new Prime Minister but i can't remember seeing anything about such an equivalent in your system.

What my basic research shows me is that it would take Trump to resign and I can't see him doing that.

BTW, I do think some of his policies are crazy and his character is highly questionable especially when he attacked Hilary but i would see American jobs return to America (especially manufacturing) and stop the economic deterioration of cities like those in the "rust belt" somehow.

He's saying that he will get impeached before 4 years is up.

Ford replaced Nixon for the balance after he resigned.  I guess Clinton was impeached in the house, but it wasn't passed in the senate.  If there is an impeachment it triggers a new election.

In Canada it's the party that is elected.  If the PM steps down then the party elects a new leader and they become the PM.  The big one that we remember here was Mulroney announcing his retirement and our first female PM, Campbell, serving for a couple months back in 93.

25th amendment, impeachment. We have some recourse although little of it has been actually tested.

Chipper if you believe a single word he says, you're a sucker. He lies, and lies, and lies.

Jobs back? Please.. Dude the magnitude of this problem goes far beyond something as simple as jobs. Donald Trump is the single biggest threat to America, that America has ever seen. Maybe slightly hyperbolic but it's not far from true if far at all. DFT does not care about jobs, he simply postures in attempt to appeal to his base. He's basically demented and effectively stupid, shoving his foot down his throat everytime he opens his mouth. Do you listen to him? I've known 5 year-olds with broader vocabularies.

Did you know they (house GOP) just moved to cut health benefits to about 24 million people? People just like you Chipper. If they wanted to leave you sick without recourse, would you be touting "jobs" then?

He hasn't accomplished anything but damage.

This country has massive potential for alternate energy -- solar, wind, hydro-electric, geo-thermal. We have the real-estate, the latitude, the rivers, the natural resources for all of that. I live next to a massive hydro-electric structure that has been kicking ass for years; but Drumpf wants to re-stoke fucking COAL. The fucking COAL industry Chipper. This is all beyond backwards Chipper, you're smarter than that, right?

The man is a fraud and this is becoming more apparent by the hour. Fucking mind boggling how this isn't beyond apparent to %100 of the planet.

no, I didn't realise that.

I actually agree with you, having carefully considered your input.

I just wanted him to change his views and opinions and react accordingly but I forgot his lies and how devastated I felt when he won ... his reaction to the Syria chemical weapons attack led me down this path because I supported his intervention so I softened up a bit.

He's a complete fraud, and it's really that simple, and the judiciary agrees.

(but "the emails" they cried, she's a professional they cried!)

His reaction to the syrian attack was laughable.  He gave the Russians and Syrians advance notice of what was going to happen, and wasted lots of money and resources on a big symbolic gesture that achieved very little.

http://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/9060/us-launched-tomahawk-missile-attack-on-shayrat-air-base-in-syria

In response russia is bringing in their top of the line air defense radars and missles.  Russian missles are more potent than Nato missles remember.  They didn't even shut down the airbase.  Planes are still flying from there last I heard.  It was an inept gesture. Told by an idiot.  Full of Sound and Fury.  Signifying nothing.
