Has anybody tried this? I had the opportunity to try it today as i had 2 extractions done at the dentist but i asked for the versed/propofol combo instead. Did I miss out on anything? To be honest the propofol wasnt that fun bc i was out so quick and woke up without any euphoria almost like bada bing bada boom, asleep, awake.

I believe I've had this or another inhalation type of anesthesia before... I know I got an injection of Versed and I can recall that part... I remember being disappointed because I didn't really feel it... I don't remember anything else after that. I'm pretty sure the doc said I was going to get a mask and some type of gas though... just saying I doubt you're missing out. You probably wouldn't have remembered that one either...

In '97, I got 3 wisdom teeth pulled. I had already had one extracted with novacaine and nitrous, and I wanted to be out for the final three. I still had veins back then, and was still a chipper. Anyway, they gave me IV versed and fentanyl, and all I remember is saying to the doctor "come on, are we going to do this or what? Let's get it over with." The doctor laughed and said," we are finished!" Wow, I was out cold in like 2 seconds. No real euphoria to speak of though.
