I guess hard ware stores that sell rope, gun stores, car dealers etc.
I don't think they should be picking on the doctor.
It goes higher if you want to blame someone.
How about the people who control the controls

They just arrested a doctor I used to see in Delray beach  he's chargd with 30 plus counts of trafficking in oxycodone, hydromorphone, xanax and soma.

I should see if it's on google news, I bet it is.

If this is true (NOT doubting your word, just haven't seen news report(s) etc), as a CPPer, I'd like to very sarcastically thank these Drs for giving the alphabet agencies the excuse they needed and power to act as physicians (which they are NOT) to drive many honest PM drs, (AND cause many GP's to say "sorry, my hands are tied"), out of business b/c they refuse to pay the high malpractice rates and constantly be audited & told how to run their practice.  A giant "thanks a lot you money grubbing jerk" to the few who've made life much harder for everyone, including CPPers.  Sorry for rant.

Lose something every day. Accept the fluster
of lost door keys, the hour badly spent.
The art of losing isn't hard to master.
Then practice losing farther, losing faster:
places, and names, and where it was you meant
to travel. None of these will bring disaster.

It's true, it's on google news, the guy is fucked in such a bad way, trafficking over 28 of any schedule ii is 25 years a count, no deviation as they are charges the hold the mandatory  sentence at 25

These doctors down here that were or still are in the pill mill game used to script unfathomable amounts, I'm from the former pill mill capital of the world, there was at one point over 300 clinics in my county alone (that's a real number too)

I know a doc,  who is doin the pill mill game down here with fentanyl products like patches, actiq, fentora  and since u don't have to get a huge quantity as you would with oxy morphine or hydromorphone, it doesn't draw too much attention.

I personally goto program at one of the largest hospitals in florida. No more playing with crooked doctors.

People always offered to pay for my records to edit them and put their na me on it, these clinics never verified your papers were legit. That's changed tho, the pill mills now verify any bit of information they ask u to hand over. You must have a legit medical necessity for any amount that would be of fun to a junkie. They can conduct an audit on any doctor who prescribes large amounts of any controlled drugs here, they just look for suspicious amounts in the PMP

Still think it's stupid
That a guy with a 4 year degree
 The soup guys
Tell a guy with 8 year degree
What to do.
They do fuck it up for every one
I wish I could get a doctor
To prescribe what I need
I got tolerance 20+ years
Of opioid use.

They use to understand
They don't now.

I don't have anything
In my profile
That would be
Risk factors for abuse
Except being under medicated

Hero you're right about having people with no medical training telling doctors what they can & can't do.

Ideally (back in the 1980's), a doctor's expensive years/decades of training, built their common sense & confidence which they used to try and help their patients, without interference.

Nowadays, someone from the Dee-Eee-Ayyy, or the patient's health provider is going to influence what a doctor does for the patient.  Typically, this interference doesn't benefit the patient at all.

General consensus among doctors is, is that being a doctor these days sucks.  It was always in the top 1 or 2 professions for suicide.

Picture yourself in their shoes for a few seconds: you face a potential lawsuit everytime you do something, you're contradicted by insurance companies, your patient are always demanding more & stronger drugs, and even in legit cases of using higher doses, you might just get the attention of the Dee-Eee-Ayy.  This is in addition to dealing with shithead bosses & incompetent co-workers, and you can go to prison for the decisions you made years ago.

Yeah....it sucks.

Oh yea forgot about my insurance
Every month they send him a note
Saying you could prescribe this or that.
They ignore the fact that I have stomic/digestive problems
And can't take E.R meds.

I wouldn't put my life on the line
Just what they pay in mal practice
Insurance.
